Authors POV:

Connor noticed Hank fell asleep while watching the show. Connor didn't really pay any attention to the show today since you were all he has been thinking about since he got back home. Connor turns the TV off.

He lifts Hank up to then carry him to his room. Once that's done, Connor says goodnight to Sumo before heading to his own room. 

Connor closes the door to his room. Laying down on his bed to stare at the plain ceiling he thought back to that interesting incident that happened earlier today. After his thoughts fill in with that person he encountered he slowly falls asleep.

--Next Morning--

Connor wakes up to the sun peeking in through his curtains. Yawning, stretching his arms out then one last yawn he gets up to head to the bathroom. Once he finished washing his face, as well as brushing his teeth he get's dressed for the day.

Now fully dressed wearing a casual white button up, with black dress pants then to complete the look some black leather shoes. He has a achievement!..Business attire. Looking at himself in the mirror in his room to make sure everything looks right, he leaves his room to then walk into the living area. 

Hank is sitting on the sofa watching TV as Sumo is laying down next to Hank on the sofa. Seeing how breakfast wasn't made yet Connor decides to take it upon himself to whip something up quickly. 

A simple set of eggs, toast, and bacon is made. Setting the plates on the table Connor calls for Hank to eat. They both sit at the table and make small talk while eating until Connor tells Hank something that kinda shocked him.

"I'm going to head out for a bit today, I just want to have a stroll around the town so I know what's here" 

Connor says getting up to put his plate in the sink. Hank just accepts what Connor says not saying anything. Connor then pets Sumo goodbye for now, then looks at Hank giving a small wave. 

"You better not be out too late!"

Hank yells out feeling like a father even though Connor is old enough to be out on his own. Before walking out the door Connor slowly walks up to Hank..

"Do you mind lending me the keys to the car..I kind of want to drive"

Hank scoffs then hands Connor the keys, making him smile, then rushing out of the house. Clearly excited to explore the new things. As Connor starts up the car, he slowly backs out of the drive way then before he realizes he's into the city. 

Looking around he spots a little Coffee shop, looking for a place to park he finds a space then parks getting out of the car. Walking towards the Coffee shop he could already smell the fresh beans from the place. 

Walking into the place he gets in line, looking up at the menu mentally thanking himself for bringing his wallet. Once it was his turn he ordered a cappuccino with a small cheesecake on the side. 

The lady gave him a number card. Connor decided to find a seat somewhere to wait. He spots a little cozy spot in the corner that has a window by it. Taking a seat waiting for his number to be called he spots a girl walking in.

His eyes widen seeing her with bruises.

'Why is she out here looking like that?!'
