Previously On The Hunger Games:
Henrry slashes through his opponents, showing no mercy.
"Please welcome, Henrry, the winner of the first Hunger Games!"
"Guy!" Guy is reaped for the second Hunger Games.
Guy slashes his way through, but meets his end at the hands of Cat, the winner of the second Hunger Games.
"Let's give them a games to remember!"
Dead tributes awaken in a new area, watched over by tributes from a long forgotten world. Finnick organises a plan to destroy the third arena.
Sophie, Kalani, Duck, Guy, Alex, and Andrew are rescued from the arena.
"They will pay for what they've done," Llama, the president of the country, says.
"The mentors of the previous games will compete in the fourth hunger games, even mentors are not safe."
Finnick is dragged away by peacekeepers.
After the Third Hunger Games:
Sophie, Kalani, Duck, Guy, Alex, and Andrew are taken to a far off village away from home. They stay there for a full year, numb to the world around them.
Kalani stands. "I'm going to save them."
"Who?" Sophie asks.
"Finnick, Johanna, all of them," Kalani says.
"Well you're going to need help," Sophie stands.
"Some people need to stay back here," Guy says.
"I will," Andrew insists. "Alex, Duck, and I will stay and keep everything safe. Those mentors saved our lives, now go save them."
Kalani nods and him, Sophie, and Guy head off towards the Capitol.
Guy's POV:
We sneak into the Capitol and nothing's changed. Selfish, grossly caked faces of rich snobs. I even see James Charles walk by. We keep walking when Kalani tells us we need to "meet" somebody.
"Follow me," Kalani says. He runs into an alley where I can make out two shadowy figures. My eyes adjust to the darkness and the shapes register as people, people I've seen before.
"Took you long enough," Henrry says.
"You guys really left an impression," Cat smiles.
Sophie draws her knife at the sight of Henrry. "He's a no good career, why are we with him? He loves the games."
"Not anymore..." Henrry sighs. "Llama and his team of Capitol snakes murdered everybody I love... I'm simply returning the favor."
"What's our mission?" Cat asks.
"Break out the mentors," Kalani says. "I know it's terrible but we have to have a fully fresh batch of tributes. We need new blood, new people to join us. Those mentors can't be killed, they are some of the strongest members of the rebellion."
We make our way to the tribute quarters where the mentors are. Sophie pulls out her bow and shoots down the cameras. I rip the security system out with my sword and a door opens.
Henrry runs in first, followed by Cat. The rest of us fill in. The mentors are there.
"Kalani, Sophie!" Finnick yells.
"Shh," Sophie says. "We are here to rescue you."
The group leads the mentors out when an alarm begins to ring.
"Run," Cat says.
The tributes and mentors begin darting the way they came. As they run, a Peacekeeper appears, they shoot Cat in the leg and she falls to the ground.
"CAT!" Kalani helps her up. "Let's go!"
"No..." Cat says. "You go, I'll fight them."
"No!" Kalani says. "You're coming with!"
"Let me do this, Kalani..." she says. "My family is already gone, I have nothing else to lose but this rebellion. You have to go."
Cat pushes Kalani and the rest of us away. We run as she shoots down piece keepers.
We make it to the exit and turn to lead her towards us. We turn around just in time to see a bullet shot right into her heart. She falls to the ground in a terrifying blood dance. She's dead...
We all run and escape, leaving Cat's body to be cleaned up by the Capitol.
Kalani's POV:
I wake up. Yesterday was terrible... We lost Cat... Immediately the TV turns on with a broadcast by president Llama.
"We have unfortunate news," Llama says. "Unfortunately, a band of traitorous rebels viciously murdered our peacekeepers and freed the criminal mentors. Along with this, they brutally murdered Cat... Winner of the second games... She gave her life for the Capitol. She is the symbol that we all must strive to be."
I'm in awe. How could they do that to Cat? How could Llama and the Capitol twist her death for their sick gain?
"I'm gonna kill him," Henrry says.
"Today is the reaping," Llama announces. "Because the mentors escaped, they sadly will not be competing in the games. There will be a fully fresh new batch of tributes. New faces of sacrifice."
