District 1: Abdul, Salad
District 2: Brooke, Luvs
District 3: Hoodie, Sniffer
District 4: Draggini, Krista
District 5: Kam, Tris
District 6: Trisha, Kiki
District 7: Venus, Escape
District 8: Sonny, Shark
District 9: Harry, Mergle
District 10: Melon, Bongo
District 11: Violet, Yellow

Hoodie's POV:
I look around the arena. It's candy. The brown liquid is most likely acidic and would burn me to a touch. The careers are all eager.
Our pedestals are on a beach, then theres a ring of the acidic soda around the cornucopia, with strips of land attaching the beach to it.
"Let the 4th annual Hunger Games begin..."
I look around, unsure of what to do.
"10."
Do I go for a weapon?
"9."
No I can't, thats stupid.
"8."
The careers will go there.
"7."
It's way too dangerous.
"6."
I can't be one of the first killed.
"5."
I've made up my mind.
"4."
I'll run.
"3."
I'm not going into that bloodbath.
"2."
Here we go, get ready to run away.
"1."
It's time.
BOOM
I jump from my pedestal and begin running, but not where I want to go. I can't help myself from running into the mouth of the cornucopia.
I run along one of the strips of land, on the strip beside me I can see Salad darting to the cornucopia. I have to beat him there, if I don't, he'll cut me off and end my life in a flash. I begin to speed up, I move my legs faster and faster.
I reach the cornucopia a mere second before Salad, grabbing a bow and arrow and pointing it at Salad's head. I let the arrow fly but he ducks behind a wall in the cornucopia.
Figures.
I turn and see Abdul slaughter Yellow. A canon booms.
One down...
I decide to look for Sniffer, my district partner. I turn the corner and immediately have an axe thrown at me courtesy of Kam. The axe whizzes by my face and lands in Kiki's chest. A canon booms.
The career pack already begins forming. Abdul hands Salad a spear and Kam gets Tris a bow and arrow. I try to stay out of their sight for now, but I know that Salad knows I'm here. I shot at him. Why would I provoke a career?
Brooke and Luvs meet up with the other careers as well. Draggini, Krista, and Trisha also stand with them.
How big is this career pack? They'll be impossible to defeat...
Tris grabs twin blades, her most lethal weapons. She turns a corner and finds Melon. She chuckles, stabbing him in the lower abdomen, then ripping her blades up to his throat.
By now, most of the tributes have left the cornucopia. I can see Sniffer attempting to sneak away.
"Hey!" Tris yells. "Let's get another kill." She smiles as her and Kam cut Sniffer off from escaping.
"Nowhere to run buddy!" Kam laughs.
I shouldn't do this. But I am. I try to stop myself but my arrow is already flying. The arrow is sent into Tris' ankle. I send another into Kam's knee. I run and quickly grab Sniffer by the arm, making a mad dash into the candy forest that surrounds the cornucopia.
Kam's POV:
My knee begins to bleed. I rip the arrow out and attempt to chase after Hoodie and Sniffer, but they're already gone.
Tris pulls the arrow out of her ankle. "I'll kill them," she says.
"That was the one who shot at my head," Salad remarks.
"She's brave," Abdul says with confidence. "But that won't save her."
"We'll kill them eventually," Brooke says, "we have bigger fish to fry."
Luvs points out that only three tributes are dead.
"Not so much of a blood bath I guess," Trisha says.
"We're just saving them for later," Salad smiles.
Sniffer's POV:
The sun begins to set and I know what Hoodie and I have to do. That career pack is terrifying. It's huge. So we need to make a bigger alliance too.
"Any suggestions on who we should find?" I ask.
"Mergle," Hoodie says. "Maybe Harry and Violet?"
Almost as if they were listening, Mergle and Harry stumble in.
Mergle's eyes widen, he turns about to run.
"No wait!" Hoodie yells. "We need your help."
"The careers have too many for any of us to stand a chance," I say. "We need to band together."
"Let's do it," Harry says.
While I'm glad to have allies, I'm worried. The more allies I have, the more friends I have to kill to survive...
