"Cianna? Are you ready?" Lucy asked looking in Cianna's room. "Yes!" Cianna replied flashing a smile. Lucy looked at Cianna's room. "Pretty flowers! Where did you find them, Cianna?"

"I found them by the river!"

"Really? The river is Edmund's favorite place."

"Oh! That's funny!"

Just then, Susan walked in. "Cianna! I have a surprise!" Susan exclaimed cheerfully. "Really?" Cianna replied. Susan handed Cianna a tiara. "Whoa! Sparkly!" Cianna giggled. All three of the girls laughed. "Are you ready?" Peter asked as he and Edmund strolled into the room. Susan looked at both Cianna and Edmund. The second they both saw each other, they blushed. "Let's go. We can't keep everyone waiting forever!" Susan and Peter said in unison.

Susan's thoughts:

THAT'S IT! The flowers are River Lilies! Edmund's favorite!

Edmund glanced around the room and saw the flowers he gave to Cianna earlier. He grinned.

So they all danced for what felt like five hours. After a while, Edmund was talking to Peter. "Happy birthday, Pete!" Edmund said distracted. "Did you enjoy your day with Cianna?" Peter said. "How did you know?" Edmund asked puzzled. "You know the serving boy who fetched you?" Peter asked and Edmund nodded; "He was there like half of the time of your picnic." Edmund just blushed. "Oh..." was all he could reply. "Let me guess... You want to ask her to dance, but your afraid too. And you're also afraid we didn't know!" Peter said; "Just ask her! Just like that!" "Do you really think I should?" Edmund's eyes were filled with fear. "Go on, Ed! You can do it!" Peter encouraged. And with that, Edmund walked up to where Cianna was. "Cianna. May I have this dance?" Edmund asked unsure. He looked down at his hand. It was shaking! Cianna grabbed Edmund's hand. "Of course..." Cianna replied bashfully.

Meanwhile where Peter, Susan, and Lucy were:

"Aw..." both Susan and Lucy said. Peter just chuckled.

Back to Cianna and Edmund

So obviously they danced for quite a long time. Until the ball was over...
