It was a few days after the Pevensies found Cianna. Lucy and Cianna were best friends now for they are both fifteen. "LU! Wake up!" Cianna cried as she jumped on Lucy's bed. "Good morning Anna!" Lucy said sleepily. "TODAY'S THE BALL! Are you not excited?" Cianna asked. "Oh! I am! Do you know what it is for?" Lucy interrogated. "I thought it was for Peter?" Cianna replied. "Okay." Lucy said with a huge grin; "You should get dressed. This time, watch for the stairs." So Cianna went to her chambers and changed to a sky blue flowing dress with flowers that matched her eyes. Then Cianna heard a knock on the door. "Anna? Are you ready?" Lucy asked as she knocked on the door. "Yes. Yes I am! Let us break our fast." Cianna replied opening the door. So the two best friends walked to the Great Hall for breakfast. "Good morrow, Sir Kirby!" Cianna waved to a knight; "Hello, Lady Cianna!" "Hurry up, Anna! I am famished!" Lucy whined teasingly. Immediately Cianna grabbed her skirt so she could run faster and they raced to the Food Court. Just as they got there, they both stopped when they saw Susan. "Good morning, Cianna! Good morning, Lucy! Racing were we?" Susan exclaimed as they walked in the Great Hall. "Good morning, Susan!" Lucy said noticing it seemed like Cianna was looking for someone; "Looking for somebody, Anna?" "No. Not at all." Cianna replied and forced a smile. "Good morrow, Edmund!" Susan exclaimed when Edmund walked in. "Good morrow, Sus." Edmund replied distracted. "Cianna just left to go say hi to the chef's." Lucy said hoping that that would get Edmund's attention. Which it did. "She is over there." Edmund said automatically. "How do you know that?" Lucy interrogated. "Um... No reason Lu." Edmund replied to Lucy. "Sure." Lucy replied suspiciously. "Well. I think I will go ask the Cook what is going on. Breakfast should have been done five hours ago." Susan said.

"So Cianna... How exactly did you come to be in Narnia?" Peter asked. "I was exploring my uncle's house and I found this room. With only a wardrobe! Mrs. Macready was leading a tour so I hid... Only to get knocked out by a tree branch! And then I had no idea what happened next... I just woke up here." Cianna replied rubbing her head. "Well... I have to go. I have a meeting with the councilmen. Apparently, a few beavers are fighting over territory..." Peter sighed. "Well good luck with that, Peter!" Susan replied; "Cianna, what do you like to do?" "That's easy. I love to read! Action, adventure, romance, fantasy!" Cianna replied. If any of the three young women looked at Edmund, they would have noticed he seemed to get an idea. "M'lady's. You are needed to prepare the ball tonight!" a chancellor announced to Susan and Lucy. "Well I got to go!" they both said at the same time. "Good luck!" Cianna said. Then she turned her focus to her food. "Hey Cianna..." Edmund said timidly; "I have a surprise for you..." "Oh! Okay... " Cianna replied.

Cianna's thoughts:

URGH! That so so stupid of me. "Oh! Okay..." I just really get nervous around him for some reason...

Edmund's thoughts:

I hope she likes this... Edmund! You are King Edmund the Just! You faced a witch. Admittedly you almost died. You faced monsters and villains. Yet this girl... She makes you nervous.

Edmund covered her eyes and lead her to the Library. He figured since she loved books. This is the perfect place! "Ta da..." Edmund said softly. "Oh my..." Cianna gasped as she looked around at the thousands of books of every topic ever practically; "It's beautiful!" "I have nothing to do today besides got to the ball... You want me to stay with you?" Edmund asked unsure. "Sure! If you have no where better to be, I mean!" Cianna rushed. Edmund grinned. They spent three hours reading books in the library when Cianna mentioned she never rode a horse before but she always wanted to. "Then follow me!" Edmund cried out.

"Blimey! A real horse!" Cianna said in awe. "Come on." Edmund said.

"What?"

"I'm teaching you how to ride a horse."

"Really?"

"Really!"

So once Cianna learned how to ride. They went to the woods together on their horses, Philip (Edmund's horse) and Buttercup (Cianna's new horse). Then Edmund surprised Cianna with a picnic. (Since Edmund has two sisters he has a general idea of what girls like)
