Lily brought a stack of papers to the classroom. They were quiz for the children. "I wonder who will score the most this year." Lily said as she walked in the classroom. The children's eyes were on the papers. "Are we having a quiz today?" Athanasia asked.

"Yes. It's mathematics." Lily said as she hand the papers to every child.

"Geez, why does it have to be math?" The children sulked.

"The person who scored the highest gets a present!" Lily tried to cheered the children. "You may start now"

The children focused on the quiz with a reward in mind. They were excited about what reward will they get.

Athy was stucked on one of the questions. She looked around and saw Lucas already on the last question. 'Help me' she tried to communicate with him telepathically. Lucas looked at her paper and gave her a glare. 'Figure it yourself. It's too easy.'

'Geez. One question wouldn't hurt.' Athy thought and rolled her pencil on the table, debating whether or not she should answer the question. She rolled three times and got the same thing: yes, which is to answer it.

'Arghh but I can't figure anything out.' Athy scratched her head. Lily seemed to have noticed the abnormal actions Athy was doing and asked her what's wrong. She just smiled and looked at her paper again, trying to figure an answer.

"Children, Make sure you check your answers properly. Sometimes the easiest questions are the ones you get wrong easily."

That sentence hit Athy really hard. She always made careless mistakes on the simplest questions. She started to panic, thinking that the question she couldn't answer is probably the easiest question among all, but she still couldn't figure it out.

'She's a complete idiot. That's the simplest question ever.' Lucas looked at Athy who was panicking. He felt like laughing when Athy glared at him.

Time was over and Lily collected their papers for marking. She returned the papers to the children as soon as she finished marking.

"Damn, I knew this would be the simplest question but I still couldn't answer it." Athy cried. Jennette came to see her paper and chuckled. "You can't answer 1+1 ?"

Lucas laughed out loud despite knowing Athy would get mad. "That's why I didn't tell you the answer. It was too easy."

"Shut up! I just got nervous!" Athy was really sad.

"Come one now, don't cry. We learn from mistakes." Ijekiel pat her on the back.

Some children cried because they couldn't answer some tough questions. Lucas, on the other hand, got scored full marks. He just sat and looked at the children's teary eyes. 'Why would they cry over something like this?'

"Lucas! I know you're smart but this is too much. You never lose a mark!" Athy pointed at him while crying.

"It's my nature, can't help it." he responded with his hands crossed.

"At least comfort her, would you?" Ijekiel said.

"Athy, let's come to my place after school! My mummy made cake yesterday. I'm sure it'll cheer you up." Jennette tried her best to console her.

"I would if my daddy allows me to." Athy said with a sad tone.

"I will ask him for you later" Jennette said with sparkling eyes, as if she's confident Claude would approve.

Lily went through the questions that the children answered wrongly with them and the class ended when their parents came.

"Children, you may go home now, your mummy and daddy are here." Lily waved them goodbye and packed her things, ready to leave.

"Athanasia."

Athy looked towards where the voice came from. "DADDY!"

"What did you do today?"

"We did a math quiz."

"How was your score?"

"uhm... hehe"

"Lily."

"Yes, sir. She made a careless mistake but overall her score was good. She just need to try not to nervous when she is answering the questions."

"Thank you." Claude said to Lily. He turned around to carry Athy when he saw Jennette looking at him.

"Hi uncle. Can Athy come over today please? I want to give her cake." Claude responded with a cold gaze. Athy knew it wouldn't work out but Jennette kept pleasing him. "She's not feeling good today because she answered wrongly on the test so the cake can cheer her up"

"We have that at home. Let's go, Athanasia." He picked up Athy but she wouldn't move. "You want to go to Jennette's?" Athy just slightly nodded her head. Claude sighed. He didn't want her to go there because Ijekiel will be there too and he doesn't want her to go near him. But her happiness is the most important. So he let her go anyway.

"I'll pick you up for dinner."

"Thank you daddy!" Athy kissed Claude's cheek and ran to Jennette. Claude left when Anastacius came to pick ul the girls. "Take care if her." Claude said when they crossed path.

"Let's go, girls."

The children hop on the car and went to Jennette's place to enjoy cake.

Felix came right before dinner time to pick Athy. "Princess, it's time for you to head back."

"Okay..." Athy said with a sigh. She waved to Jennette and left the place with Felix.

While in the car, she asked Felix, "Is daddy waiting for me?"

"Yes. Master has been waiting for your return and has not done any work since then. He has no intention of doing work since your presence is not there, princess."

'Intention? Presence? What's that?' Athy was too young to understand Felix's sentence but she didn't care to ask more. She just sat patiently while Felix drove her home.

"Mummy, I'm home~" Athy hopped down the car and ran towards the door, where Diana was waiting.

"Wash your hands and feet, darling. Your father is waiting for you to eat dinner."

"Okay!" She went in the house and do as her mother said.

The family ate their dinner together.

"Good night. Sweet dreams, my darling." Diana kissed her daughter's forehead as she sang her a lullaby.

"Good night, mummy" Athy always fall fast asleep whenever her mother sings her a lullaby. Her voice is sweet enough to make someone fall asleep.
