One week later...

"I smell cake!" Athy stood up and ran to Lily who just came in with a cake in her hands.

"Okay children, take your seats."

The children sat in their respective seats and wait for Lily to open the cake box.

"It's Lucas' birthday today. Everyone, make sure you wish him later" Lily said as she led Lucas to the cake.

Everyone sabg the birthday song for Lucas.

"Yeah! Lucas, blow the candle!"

"Yeah!"

"Blow it!"

"Make a wish"

'Tch. Only brats make wish on a candle'

Lucas blew the fire on the candle and cut the cake into even slices, enough for everyone. Lily helped him in the process.

"It's strawberry"

"Yes. Do you like it, Athy?" Lily passed a piece of tissue for Athy to wipe off the crumbs on her cheek. "Here, wipe your mouth."

"Yum. It's very yummy!"

Athy looked very happy and asked for another slice.

"Oh, it's the last slice." Athy realised Lucas haven't ate any.

"Lucas, aren't you eating? It's yours"

"No. Strawberry isn't my type."

"Oh my really? I'm so sorry, I'll get you another one. What flavour do you prefer?" Lily felt guilty as she sees Lucas handing the last slice over to Athy. "I should've asked him first. Now the birthday boy didn't get to eat. Arghhh what should I do....."

"It's fine. I don't really like cakes." Lucas saw Lily's frustrating look.

"You sure?" Athy asked before taking a bite.

"Yeah eat it before the cream melts"

"Oh you're right. Thank you."

Little did they know, seeing Athy's happy smile is better than any cake. (*cough cough* boy, you're still young *cough cough*)

"What is going on here?"

In a split second, the whole class became silent.

"Hea-Headmaster!"

"That does not answer my question."

"Oh. It's Lucas' birthday so we were celebration it."

Lily stood up and checked the time. "Ah it's so late already." The other parents came to pick their children home too.

"Daddy!" Athy ran to her father as Claude carried her in his arms.

"What did you do today?"

"I ate cake! 2 cakes!"

"You mean 2 slices?"

"No, 2 cakes! Each of us get one, and Lucas said he doesn't like cake so I ate his"

Claude is confused. Did they eat mini cakes or what?

"Lily, what exactly did you feed them?"

"They half one slice of strawberry cake each, except for Athanasia. Lucas offered his slice saying he don't really like cakes."

"I told you. It's 2 slices. I don't think 2 cakes can fit your stomach, Athanasia."

"But daddy, Miss Lily said it was cake."

"...Lily"

"Yes, sir?"

"Teach them what is "slices" tomorrow."

"...yessir"

The children went back with their parents. "Bye bye Miss Lily!"

"Bye." Lily waved at the cute children as they left.

"Now, shall we head to your home too, Lucas?"

Lucas nodded his head and Lily sent him back home.

"uhm..." Lucas said something when Lily dropped him home.

"hm?"

"...thank you... for sending me home."

"Oh sure, no problem! Stay safe at home. Make sure you lock the doors and windows before you sleep."

"..."

"What is it?"

"...and the cake too... thank you"

"the cake... did you eat it?"

"yes, Athy gave me a little bit..."

'Oh dear Athy, so cute.'

"Well then, glad tou like it."

"Mm. Bye"

"Bye bye"

Lily drive off to her place after sending Lucas home. "I hope they go to the same elementary school. I wonder is Athy aware of his feelings?"

Okay so, I'm ending this in a few chapter or so... and and and..... I didn't plan to update today BUT! I SAW MY OWN STORY "CREPE" IN THE RECOMMENDATION TWICE... that's right, T W I C E ! and I'm so happy so I made a happy chapter ^^
