Chapter 13

"He's still watching you!" I heard someone say and I jumped from the bed and turned to see Bow crying on her bed and gasping for air.

"Bow." I called softly as I got to her bed.

"Always there. Always waiting. Always watching," she cried and I shook the life out of her in panic.

"Bow wake up!" I screamed her name but it didn't work.

"He's still watching you!" She screamed her voice was shrill and hoarse as it jumped an octave with tears streaming down her face.

"He's watching you Bow! He's still watching!" She screamed lower. It was then I noticed her sleep deprived face and underweight figure.

"Bow! Goddamit stop!" I screamed in tears and fear. She looked like she was in pain. She pushed me on the floor and started to fight the air and claw her face. I crawled backwards in fear until my back hit the wall.

"Bow must fight. Bow won't let master touch. Bow won't dance for master. Bow must be pure. Bow must fight!" She screamed and I sobbed.

"Bow please." I pleaded, my head in my arms.

"Master please punish me. I won't do it anymore," she said slowly.

"Bow!" I screamed her name and covered my ears in pain as she let out a blood curling scream that almost shook the window. She started to shake, her eyes half open, the bed creaking too. The door busted open and some paramedics came in.

"She's having seizure!" The female paramedic yelled and a man came to my shaking form and squatted down to my level.

"We're sorry you had to witness that. Are you okay?" He asked and I nodded, not able to form a sentence.

"Next time this happens, hit the panic button beside your bed okay," he said and I glanced at the small red button with panic written on it and nodded. He patted my hair and stood up. I watched as Bow was injected and the shaking stopped. They kept her on a stretcher without wheels and strapped her hands and legs.

"Where are you taking her?" I asked him.

"The red room. She'll be there until she wakes," he said and I frowned.

"What the fuck is the dark room?" I asked and he smiled at me.

"Sick bay," he replied and I mouthed an 'o' and nodded, slightly embarrassed. The room became silent when they left and I scoffed in loneliness. I flinched when I heard a loud bell noise. No one was around to tell me what to do. I opened my wardrobe and brought out my schedule. Breakfast at food hall 7:35AM - 9:00AM. I checked the wall clock and saw 7:38. I shrieked and ran to the bathroom to have my bath. I dressed up in one of the cotton pants and and shirt. I wore my socks and boots which was a little big for me. I pulled my hair in a tight ponytail according to the rules. I opened the other drawer and took four notes and stationary. I kept them in the big satchel I found and grabbed a jacket. I locked the room with my key and left the empty block, heading towards the food hall. I got in to find more than a hundred students like me eating in groups. I looked around for Killian and found him sitting with his roommate and one other guy. I knew he could sense me but he never looked up. He told me that, when he explained stuff about dragons and mates. I looked away and spotted the eye patch guy from last night and two other twin girls. I grinned when I found extra free seats.

"Hi." I greeted as I got closer and he looked up at me with tired eyes and a big smile.

"Hey pretty girl. Where's Bow?" He asked and I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Shut up. He has a crush on her," one of the twins winked at me and I giggled.

"I'm Luke," he introduced and I sat down. He pointed to the girl who spoke to me.

"This is Valentine," he said and pointed to the other girl

"And this lil baby is Valerie," he laughed and she elbowed him and offered me her fries.

"I'm Wrenly but I prefer Wren." I told them and vacuumed the fries.

"Well then Wren. You're welcome to the fantastic four. Bow isn't here but since you're here now, we're now the fantastic five," he cheered and they grinned at me.

"Is Bow in the red room?" He asked with sad eyes and I nodded.

"Not again." Valerie groaned and I looked up to see Billy and her friends hovering over us.

"Get your asses out, we're sitting here today," she ordered and I gritted my teeth. They stood up but I still sat down. She reminded me of Jerry and I was about to prove Jerry wrong. I won't be ordered around. Never!

"Wren please get up, you don't wanna do this." Luke pleaded my nose flared in anger at the fear in his voice.

"So you're gonna let this fucking old hag order you around. Are you fucking kidding me?" I screeched. All eyes were on us and they whispered. I could feel Killian's intense gaze on me and my anger increased

"You don't know who you're messing with kid. I could break you into half with a click of my fingers," she spat on my face and I wiped my face in disgust and climbed my chair so we could be on the same eye level. I wasn't scared at all.

"Wren please come down." Valerie whined.

"I've had enough of your sick attitude. Look here babe we're all here for one shit and that's correction. You're not special. You are nothing. I'm not scared of your lame ass. Last time I checked, it was your smelly spit that made me cringe!" I yelled and there was silence. She held me up from my neck as my feet dangled in the air.

"Who's the boss now?" She growled in my ear and I clawed her arms with my chapped eaten nails.

"I am." I croaked and she tightened her hold. I gasped for air as tears filled my vision. I refused to back down not like this. I wouldn't be like the old Wrenly who squirmed when Jerry walked by. Who was afraid to go fight for herself. I thought of what to do and I did what the new Wrenly should do.
