Chapter 21

Killian's POV

Watching her fall from the roof top made my heart break into two.

"Shit Than" Rafael groaned and I fought against the ropes. Thanatos whispered some spells and she came floating in the air, blood dripping profusely from the middle of her beautiful hair. Her hair color was mixed with dark blood and that brought tears falling from my eyes.

It was all my fault. I killed her. I'm useless at everything I do. I'm worthless and weak. I'm a loose cannon.

"Killian. She's alive but barely" Rafael told me, releasing the ropes and I crawled slowly on my knees towards where she laid. There was nothing I could do.

"She's gone. I can't do anything" I whispered, brushing my fingers on the other side of her face. I killed her " this was all my fault" I whispered, tears threatning to force my eyes out.

"There's a way out" Than said and we both stared at him. Just like the first time I kissed her, I had hope again. I was so close to giving up on existing

"You have to mark her" he told me and I sighed in frustration

"I can't Than. I've lost my beast" I told him and Rafael knelt down beside me. I expected him to kill me. He was free to do it now.

"She's gonna be alright" he told me. I stared at him and he winced at the blank defeated stare I gave him

"Is she? It was all my fault. I shouldn't have brought her here, hell talk to her. I hurt the people I love the most. I hurt her too" I told him and he looked away. That meant I was right. I was a worthless son to my father.

"I can force your fangs out but it's gonna be painful" Than said and I nodded weakly. Anything to save her. Even if it meant me dying

He whispered those spells and I felt q tingling sensation on my gums. He whispering got louder and I hissed in pain as my fangs tore its way through. I felt the taste of cold blood dripping from my lips. This was for Wrenly. I deserve pain for hurting her. My fangs were fully elongated and I wasted no time in sinking them into the curve of her neck making our bond stronger

I could feel our souls coming and more tears fell. I was supposed to make her hate me for I was useless to her and instead I made our bond stronger. I pulled off satisfied and I felt weaker. My eyes barely stayed open but I had to do it anyway.

I watched as her skin regained its beautiful olive color and I smiled a little. Now all I had to do was make her hate me again. I was nothing but worthless, useless, ugly, murderer and all the other words father called me.

"Thank you" I whispered to Rafael and he nodded.

"I'm sorry" he cried and I shook my head

"Don't be. I deserved it" I whispered and watched as he left with Than. I watched her as she slept peacefully. Something I knew could never happen to me
