Chapter 18

YONGSUN'S POV (Side Story)

We all lived in a miserable and cruel world with full of lies ahead. Me as Kim Yongsun, I was born in a wealthy but together with a criminal family members. My older sister TaeYeon always took care of me when I was young but she's against with our parents as well and I don't want to lived this life again, I want to escape and runaway from this kind of living where nobody cares for you, my father whose a mafia leader and my mother whose a gambling lord they always care for their usual lifestyle, money and status in criminal society even my older siblings were forced to worked with them and let me stay behind since I'm still young. And as a child, I remember them so vividly but chose to forget who I am until I met Moonbyul, I always says that I suffered from amnesia and I don't even remember my past memories and the only pendant I'm wearing with my name engraved on it, I undressed my life as Kim Yongsun when I had a chance to escaped from the mafia family on my young age and found an orphanage as my new home and spend my youthful days until I grew older until one night when the civil workers from the orphanage found a stray girl whose younger than me, she's unapproachable, cold and everyone were scared from her not until I decided to talked with her but she just shrugged me off but I never give up with her until we exchanges names, I found out that Moonbyul was also runaway from her town and she tells me her secret about accidentally killing her stepfather but I still kept my real identity as Kim's youngest daughter and lied to her that I suffered from amnesia when the workers and nuns found me.

"Starting from today I will protect you." Moonbyul assured me and we made a pinky promise as well.

"I will never leave you behind Byul ah." I assured her as well until she planned to escaped from the orphanage that I also agreed with her.

"We will escape from here when the mother superior and the rest were going out of town." She said and find the right timing when fewer workers were available and focused on others.

"Hold my hand Yongsun." When we see the opportunity to escaped and successfully made it, we quickly hides ourselves in a faraway place where no one knows us.

"Yong?" Moonbyul called as she held my cold hands with her as we stayed into an abandoned yet safest place from nowhere that we have no idea.

"Byul?" I felt her warmth with me before we stare at each other, I knew for a long time we shared a mutual feelings that more than friends but we just kept and ignores it.

"I love you Yongsun." She confessed that made my heart burst from its cage, I warmly smiled at her and held her face in my hand and caressed them freely.

I love you Moonbyul." Those words still fresh and vivid within my mind and soul as I always tells her every single day.

"From now on Byul ah, I want you to become a good person so we could lived a very happy life together." I assured her the life I wanted to spend with Moonbyul for a long time.

"Let's be happy together." Moonbyul made her move to place her soft lips on mine and spend our first night together as lovers.
