Chapter 4

"I'm sorry." 

"Please Miyoung don't leave me."

"Miyoung ah!!!"

TaeYeon stirred up from her bed alone, she's having nightmares every night, Miyoung was still haunting her and it worsen every single day, the guilt and regret creeping inside her body and soul, she already end things with Jessica but her boss wouldn't let her go away easily so she decided to passed her resignation and never appeared on Pink Flamingo. She and Irene are slowly doing well, she filled Miyoung's duty as a mother, taking care of her cute daughter but still her wife keeps on dealing with her mind and it made her felt sick. She suffered from depression so she often sees her pyschiatrist every weekend with Irene.

"Are you alright mama?" Irene asked with a worried expression written from her chubby face before she tightly hold TaeYeon in her warmth.

"Thank you munchkins." 

"You're the only one that I have now." TaeYeon cried on her daughter's little arms and it made their bond stronger than before, she had no one else except from Irene.

JEJU ISLAND

"If there's anything else you know about the incident please inform us immediately Dr. Moon." One of the village police said before they left Moon's small clinic. They are still investigating the tragic accident involving her and Miyoung because TaeYeon wanted to at least knows the reason of her wife's death.

"Yes, of course." Dr. Moon coldly said.

"Thank Dr. Moon and we are very sorry for your wife's loss." The policemen left.

"Are you alright Doc?" Chanmi asked.

"Yes, I'll be inside her room and if there's anything you need just call me." Dr. Moon instructed before she left her nurse.

"I understand Dr. Moon." Chanmi replied.

INSIDE THE PRIVATE WARD

"Are you feeling well?" She asked but no response after a few days speaking with her patient but she kept her silence. Moonbyul felt defeat and could only heavily breath in so she decided to leave her alone but before she stepped forward her sleeves being pulled by the mysterious latter.

"W-Who a-am I?" The stranger latter asked in a very soft voice but Moonbyul heard them clearly. She felt tears in her eyes before she kneel infront of the patient whose silent for almost a week now, she held her breath first before she speak.

"You're my wife Yongsun." Moonbyul said.

"Y-Yongsun?" The doctor just sadly nod before she took her soft hands into hers on her lap.

"Remember your name because starting today you are living as my wife now Moon Yongsun." Moonbyul cried on the latter's lap who took courage to brush the doctor's silky silver long hair.

"I'm your wife Yongsun." The latter repeat.

"Yes you're my wife." Moonbyul looked at the mirror on their left and sees the latter's face, she could only seen Yongsun's because after the accident, Miyoung whom she saved from the explosion has a severe face damage and more major bruises in different part of her body. As a doctor also a surgeon, she operates her face to fixed the damage and replace it as Yongsun's one instead since she couldn't move on from her wife's death.

The latter stayed silence but deep inside something's bothering her inside she felt something's wrong with the person infront of her and the information she reveals, she had amnesia and she couldn't remember anything or something about her identity so she unwillingly accepted her name but something wasn't right and she had no feelings towards the person who claims as her wife. Am I Yongsun or this person was lying to me she thought but she needs an answer so she decided to carry the name of Moon Yongsun as she discover the truth herself, she will investigate silently without Dr. Moon's knowledge about her secret plan.

"I love you Yongsun ah." Dr. Moon said lovingly as she felt her hands intertwined with the person whose kneeling infront of her, she fake a smile before she caresses Moonbyul's face.

"I love you too." Moonbyul place a chaste kiss on her lips knowing she could only fake her sweet actions and just go with the flow if it's the only way she will discover her past and identity.

TWO MONTHS LATER

JEJU ISLAND

TaeYeon decided to moved on and live a life with her daughter so they moved out and sell their home, she used the money to bought a smaller one and left her other useless stuffs from her old house. She decided to buy a new home nearby the sea and out from the city life, she could breathe the relaxing air and forget her wife's death. Irene was really excited to lived in the island and she kept talking with her mother about trees and mountains made TaeYeon's heart overwhelmed by happiness, she couldn't wait to start anew life.

"Here we go!" The Kim's already standing infront of their cute little home and Irene skipped excitedly and open their door with TaeYeon's help. 

"Not bad at all." TaeYeon cheerfully said.

"It's pretty here Mama." Irene followed her mother who went into their small kitchen and sees a small dining table for two. She felt tired and sat on one of the stool with her pink teddy bear Miyoung bought for her as an early birthday present.

"Starting from today we will happily lived here and start a new life." TaeYeon hollered raising her two arms up high while Irene followed her actions.

"YEAH!" Irene scream in happiness.

"Excuse me?" Someone knock on the door and interrupt their little moments.

"Yes?" TaeYeon looked at the newcomer.

"Hi, you're the new neighbors?" The beautiful woman asked.

"Yes."

"Oh, by the way I'm your neighbor infront, I'm Mrs. Moon Yongsun." The woman cheerfully introduced made TaeYeon suddenly blushed and she didn't know why she felt like a dumbstruck over the woman who welcomed them.

"I'm Kim Taeyeon and this is my daughter Irene." Irene quickly went infront of her mother and smile at Mrs. Moon.

"Hello Mrs. Moon." Irene shows her respect and bow at the woman who wears a motherly smile and suddenly she felt her tears fell from her eyes without her knowing and it didn't go unnoticed by TaeYeon's wandering eyes.

"Are you crying Mrs. Moon?" She asked the woman who immediately wipes her tears.

"Sorry I must be emotional because suddenly I remember something I couldn't recall." Mrs. Moon explained.

"You want water or something?" TaeYeon offered but the woman waves her no.

"Thank you must be the pills." Mrs. Moon answered.

"I should take my leave now and by the way nice to meet you Ms. Kim and Irene." Mrs. Moon waved goodbye and leave the Kim residence with a sad smile on her face.

"Goodbye Mrs. Moon!" Irene waved back with a cheerful voice made TaeYeon proud of her daughter seeing how the little girl adapt what Miyoung taught her.

"I'm so proud of you Miyoung ah for teaching our daughter." TaeYeon whispered mirroring the same expression from Mrs. Moon earlier.

"C'mon Mama we should start unpacking our stuffs I'm already hungry." Irene pulled her mother inside and started unpacking their few things.

"Okay."

Mrs. Moon watched them walking inside their home and it made her feel sad and happy at the same time seeing them but she couldn't explain her feelings inside. She thought that they knew each other for a long time and felt a little attraction towards TaeYeon for the first time their eyes met earlier, she found love or something else. She felt her heartaches at the same time and the moment she saw Irene she felt her mother instinct kicking inside towards the kid, she needs to know them well and helps her out to recall her lost memories.
