Chase's POV

"Chasey..... Do you want to eat toast?" Grandma asked while having toast.

"No..... Grandma..... I had heavy lunch." I said and went back to colouring my drawing.

"Okay baby....... Kevin...... You will not even try to touch my snacks!" Grandma swatted Grandpa's hand and glared at him. This is so normal between them...... But it makes me smile, only a bit.

"Maria.... Just one toast?" And Grandma shook her head resumed eating.

"Chase...... What are you doing?" Daddy asked while entering in the living room.

"Drawing." I said and pouted when my crayon went out of the line. It always happens to me....... I try to colour neatly, but still.

"Hmmm...... Okay. So....... Chasey do you want a mini vacation at Chari Mansion? With Daddy and....... Siana." I stopped drawing.

"Daddy..... Mom cannot come with us?" I asked looking at him. Daddy sighed and looked at me.

"Chase..... I am not going to lie to you, but your Mom can't." He said.

"Then why Siana can? She is not my mother and we are not family." I asked him.

"Chase..... Look..... I can't trust your Mom easily. She broke my trust in the past..... It's too much for me to let her meet you. I am not going to stop you from meeting her...... But I can't be with her. You love your Mom, but I can't. Come on..... We have to leave after I get ready." He said and went upstairs. I sighed...... I don't think I can ever spent a family time with them.

"Chasey..... I know you are sad. Look here...... This is the toast right?" Grandma asked.

I nodded in confusion.

"Your Grandma's teeth are still strong enough that's why she likes it crispy...... But if you give this to Gabby..... Will she be able to eat it?" I shook my head.

"Likewise baby...... Your Mom is good to you and we are good to you, but your Mom and we are not good for each other. Not every person who loves you will love your family. And give Daddy some time okay?" I nodded.

"Grandma...... Was my Mom bad to you all?" I asked.

"No...... But she never liked talking to us..... Like Lexi does." She said and kissed me.

"Okay Grandma...... They both love me and I am happy for that." I smiled.

"Rest all is fine..... But darling how is it that I never knew you have strong teeth still?" Grandpa laughed at Grandma.

"Kevin..... Don't start!" She glared at Grandpa.

"Okay..... But atleast don't lie."

"Kevin! I am done talking to you...... Just you come in the room! I will show you how my teeth are working." She huffed and went out.

"Really? Then I will come now darling!" Grandpa kissed me and went.

I looked at my incomplete Family drawing....... Daddy, I and Blank paper. I should have drawn Mom too..... But I could not. It does not look good when the third place is blank...... But it would look worst if I draw Mom.

And I got that now....... Grandma was right. My Mom is only my Mom..... Not Daddy's wife and can never be his wife. And Siana...... Can be...... She cares about me. Mom can never be like Siana. I love Mom because.... She is my Mom. And I love Siana because she loves me much more than Mom amd never demand my love in return.

"Come on baby..... We have to pick Siana now." I nodded and took my drawing in my hands and went behind Daddy.

When we seated ourselves in the car.... I looked at Daddy. He looked really happy...... Like when he spends his time with me.

"Daddy..... I understood what you were saying." I said.

"Thanks champ....... I knew you would." He said and started the car. Silently we reached outside Siana's house, where Siana was already waiting for us.

She opened the door and smile at me.

"Chase.... Will you sit on my lap?" She asked and I nodded. She pushed her luggage at the backseat and picked me up. She sat on the seat and settled me on her lap and also kissed my forehead.

"So.... Are you okay with me joining your vacation?" Siana asked while slowly playing with my hairs..... It felt so nice.

"Yes..... I am okay with it." I said and leaned against her.

"Okay Chasey...... Let's play a game. You have to answer rapidly. Don't take much time in answering okay?" Siana asked and I nodded.

"Okay..... So I will give option.... And you have rapidly answer whatever comes in to your mind. Start?" I nodded.

"Pool or park?"

"Pool"

"Dolphin or shark?"

"Shark."

"TV or videogames?"

"Videogames."

"Pizza or burger?"

"Burger."

"Pasta or French fries?"

"Pasta..... Yours" I looked at and she smiled.

"Beach or hills?"

"Hills."

"Black or white?"

"Black."

"Grandpa or Grandma?"

"Both."

"Lexi or Kian?"

"Both."

"Syd or Luke or Gabby?"

"All."

"Mom or Daddy?"

"Daddy." I said without much thought and looked at her. She smiled at me.

"Chasey." I looked at Daddy to see him smiling much broader.

"Can I ask now?" Daddy asked and I nodded.

"Siana or Mom?"

"Siana." I said truthfully and looked at Siana...... And she started crying.

"Really? Me?" I nodded and wiped her tears.

"Yes you." I said.

"Why?" She asked while hugging me tightly.

"Because..... I love you more.... More than Mom and I don't know why." I said.

"Oh Chasey!" She kissed my face and hugged me again.
