Chapter 2

I awoke due to the growing pain in my head, I opened my eyes to be almost blinded by the light shining into my window, I sat up, 'God my head, what happened' then the events of yesterday came into my mind, saving Midoryia, leaving early, my quirk........"My quirk!" I yelled, I ran downstairs and into the backyard, I slammed my foot down and a giant earth spike wall was projected quickly out of the ground, they started off small but soon got to the size of a 3 story building, I brought my hand up into the air and I swung it down, the earth following quickly afterwards, 'wow that actually worked' I walked into the house, I got to the kitchen and checked my watch, 8:42 was the time read, it was Saturday, meaning I had work, I wanted to get there early so I walked upstairs and changed into my uniform, I tied the apron around my waist as I looked around, I refilled the needle and put it in a small case before shoving it into a pocket on the apron, just in case, I grabbed the cereal bar I failed to eat yesterday out of my backpack, I opened it as I took one last look at my house and headed out, 'if I'm correct' I thought as I took bite out my cereal bar, 'My father had the quirk of stealing other quirks, meaning he could use the quirk of another person, but only for a short amount of time, an hour I think' before I knew it I was at the café, I looked inside, the small outline of a women could be seen shuffling around in the kitchen, I knocked on the door and she jumped, she stuck her head around the corner before scurrying over to the door, she fiddled with the lock before opening the door, panting, I nodded as she let me in, "Y-Your here e-early" Sarah stuttered, She always had a stuttering problem, she closed the door behind her, I couldn't contain it any longer, "I got my quirk!" I half yelled, she blinked "Wha- tha-that's great! Wh-What is I-it?" She responded "I can control elements, except the fire is black, I think I can borrow quirks like my father could, that's why I'm here early" I replied, my tone returning to it's no emotion state, she led me out through the back door, she got into a fighting stance then, "The life of the party 's here!" We heard Thea yell from inside, we watched her look around before she spotted us in the back as she made her way she smiled, she opened the door "Heyyyyy" she started, Sarah explained what we were doing, she then got back into her fighting stance, "Woah there tiger, no need for that, dad could take quirks just by touching it, so make like, an ice thing or something" she backed out of her fighting stance and into a more casual pose, she shifted her foot to the left and a singular ice block formed, I walked up to it and almost as my whole hand was up against it a cold shock ran up my arm and into my body, I shivered, "W-Well?" Sarah asked, I did the same thing I would do for my earth spikes, instead of ice earth camas, I frowned and tried again, this time I only thought of one thing

The word was swimming through my mind as I positioned my self, with a quick foot movement an ice spike wall was made, I marveled at it for a moment before making it fall back into the ground, I turned around too see Sarah smirking and Thea standing there with her mouth gaping open, Suddenly it looked like she got an idea, "Howz about you try to get my quirk?" She had a super speed quirk, I stick my arm out and she books it past me, my fingers brushed against her skin, I didn't get any weird feeling, I tried to run but nothing happened, "May-maybe it o-only w-works on el-elemental quirks?" Sarah suggested, I nodded, that made sense, "I-I may b-be getting o-on in y-years, but I-I can st-still fight, let-let's tra-train together!" I thought for a moment before nodding my head slowly, "Yea! Me too! Ya'll can train at my place! I can only help on Tuesday's though" Thea stated, "O-Oh g-give me a-a moment" Sarah rushed back inside, she came back out a few moments later, "Al-Alright let's head to y-your house" Sarah said as she led the way, on the way out we saw a piece of paper taped to the door, it read, 'SHOP CLOSED HAVE A NICE DAY'  we set off down the road, we eventually got to a huge house, it was practically a mansion! Thea stoped in front of it, "Here we are!" She said excitingly, she punched in the code and the gates opened slowly, she hopped inside and led us to the side of the house, there was a huge open field, "You can train here whenever you like, the code for the gate is *****." Before we started I pulled the two aside, "I can't use my quirk for to long or it turns against me, I have an antidote though" "Oh, my parents are quirk doctors, I can get you a free prescription!" I hesitated before handing here the needle with the antidote, she took it and ran inside, she came back out with a little dark blue pouch, she opened it and it had what looked like jars and jars of the clear liquid used to help me, a few extra needles as well, I took it and thanked her, we all soon figured upout that my earth quirk is a lot like her ice quirk, we trained my earth for a while before I started to feel a weight on my shoulders, then on my head,it got heavier and heavier, it felt like there was a cliff just chillin on me, eventually my whole body was on the ground, "M-Medicine....." I started, Thea got the hint and she grabbed a needle from the pouch and raced towards me, she jabbed the needle into my arm and I felt the almost instant relief wash over me, I laid there for a few seconds before I got up, dusting myself off, "We should train my other quirks" i demanded, "N-No! You sho-should be re-resting".........silence..........."No" It came out more cold than I had meant it to, "I mean I only have a few months before the exams, I want to get into U.A. and for that I need a lot of points...." more silence, Thea started "Y/n? Have I ever told you where I work? Aside from the café?"......
