Chapter 3

"Have I ever told you where I work? Aside from the café?" Thea asks, 'Now that I think about it, I don't'  I shook my head, Thea looked at Sarah and an ear to ear smile made its way into her face, "I'm one of the staff members at U.A., Principle Nezu is my cousin!" I'm shocked! After a slight pause she asked "Do you know what that means?!" I nodded my head, 'hah I don't know what shit means'  "I can get you recommended!!" She yelled, "With a quirk like that, there's no way he won't except you!" "Holy shit! Hell yea!" I yelled, pumping my fist into the air, I smiled big, I launched myself at Thea, I hugged her, no I squeezed her, "A-Air" she tried, I let go of her and slowly turned to Sarah, "Your turn" I said darkly, Sarah laughed and tried to run away, I chased her around for a bit before I decided to use my quirk, I thought about air, how much I wanted a barrier to be made in front of her, a wall she couldn't pass, then I looked up just in time to see her collide with an invisible force, she fell to the ground and laughed, "W-Wow, nice j-job Y/N" I ran to her and hugged her, she giggled and got up, "Al-alright, let's get a little m-more quirk training i-in before it gets d-dark" Sarah suggests, I nod and stand up, We start to work on my air quirk, "I wonder if since air is invisible, you would be able to some how be able be invisible, you know what I mean?" Thea asked, I nodded, I stuck my hand out and thought about the air surrounding my hand, how I wanted it thick and see through, I wanted it to cover my hand, slowly my hand started to leave, I smiled, and thought about how I needed my hand back, and just like that, it came back, we worked on my air quirk a little bit more, before it started to get hard to breath, like I was in space, no air around, I ran to the case and opened with shaking hands, I plunged the needle into wrist and waited a few seconds, I took in a huge breath and turned around, "Let's use my fire quirk" I say, 'In all honesty, I'm scared to use my fire quirk, the drawback is almost 100% gonna be heat!'  I stick my hand out and think about fire, the black fire that appears in my hand, the way it bends agains the wind in such a beautiful way, then a small black fire appears in my hand, it was just a wonderful as the first time I saw it, I thought about how much I wanted it to be bigger, it did just that, it got bigger, I held up my other hand and made fire appear there as well, I turned around to face Sarah and Thea, they nod, I grab a needle and keep practicing, soon it starts to get really warm, then my skin starts to burn, like it on fire, I couldn't help but scream, I grabbed the syringe and plunge it into my arm, it cools down but my skin still tingles, I wobble over to them, light headed, "Maybe we should take you home?" Thea asks, my head snooks up, "NO!" They don't need to know I live in an abandoned house, "N-No, just give me a minute" they nod, I look at the sky to realize it's getting dark, I stand up, still a little dizzy, "Anyways, I gotta go, thank you for everything, is next Tuesday good?" Thea nods, "Y-Yea, I-I'll start cl-closing the-the ship o-on Tuesday's" I nod, grabbing the bag I start to walk back, I turned the corner, I didn't want to be out when it's dark so I started to sprint home, 'I think I'll train by myself tomorrow'  I turned another corner and I was at home, I walked inside and turned on a small lamp, there was just enough electricity from the house over for me to have some, I looked to the kitchen and saw a 4-foot snake, it was made of water and it had piercing red eyes, did I make that? I don't feel my quirk being activated at all, the snake looked at me, instead of slithering over, it floated over, it rubbed up on my face and I instantly fell in love, I swam right through my stomach, "Hey baby" the snake looked at me, "Hey baby girl" the snake slithered around my head in approval, "I think I'll name you...... Kara!" She slithered around faster, "Alright, for an experiment, would you be able to go inside me and not come out?" 'God that sounded so wrong'  I thought, the snake went into my stomach and stayed there, "Kara!" I called, the snake came right out, I started to walk up the stairs, but the snake bit my shirt, I turned around, I followed where she wanted me to go, she took me into the kitchen, as if telling me to eat something, I grabbed some bread cause I wasn't that hungry, I held out my hand and a water droplet appeared, she shook her head, I made a little fire ball, she almost immediately struck it, as she ate it I headed up stairs, I got changed into my pjs, shorts and a shirt, and laid down, 'I know this sounds bad, but I've been needing a phone for a while, if I walked in front of a phone store, made a phone invisible, and made it float to me, I would get one for free!'  I turned over, planning to do that tomorrow, after a few minutes I fell asleep.

Time skip

When I woke up sunshine was pouring in through the windows, I got up, Kara almost immediately wrapped around my neck, I took her off so I could get dressed, I threw on a f/c tank top and some black sweatpants, she got right back on then I headed down stairs, I walked into the kitchen and started on some eggs, once they were done I sat down and started to eat, I finished and got up, "Kara, in" I pointed at my stomach, she trudged in as I headed out the door, the phone store was right down the road, once I saw the shop I walked into a dark alley way, right in the shadows, I thought with all my might that I wanted that phone invisible, I somehow knew it was invisible, and then I waited, some lady opened the door and I took that opportunity to let the phone slip out of the shop, I stoped it from being invisible for just a second to see where it was, I almost fell back as the phone appeared right in front of me, I made it invisible and I grabbed it, I looked around and started to head home, the phone and my hands in my pockets, once I reach my house I walk in and lock the door, I take the phone out of my pocket and turn it on, it works pretty well, I walk into the backyard, "Kara!" She comes slithering out of my stomach in an instant.

I train and train, I have to use the antidote less and less, I'm getting faster and more powerful, I figured out how to make water figures so we could fight and such, I also worked on my physical strength and speed as well, I learned new moves and I can now go long periods of time without needing the antidote, I also trained Kara to be fast and strong, so if I needed help she could help me. 'It's starting to get dark'  I thought as I looked up at the sky, an array of pinks and purples were painted across the sky, I called in Kara and I started dinner, I made tacos and just some fire for Kara, finally it was time for bed, "Kara, *yawn*  in" Kara slithered in as I laid down, 'Ugh I have school tomorrow, I think I'll keep my quirk a secret'  that was my last thought before I drifted off into a dreamless sleep.....
