Chapter 13

Todoroki's p.o.v

I started explaining to Kaminari the plan, he nodded and we got into position in front of y/n, she must be powerful for All Might to suggest she fights both of us, I stomped my foot and she didn't even flinch at the ice speeding her way, she held her hand up and the ice stoped, she seemed to shiver before she moved her foot ever so slightly and bigger spikes came my way, I was knocked back from the impact, I watched Kaminari try to electrocute her, she absorbed it and all she did was walk up to him and flick him, I started to get up when "Young l/n! You have Visitors!" She slowly turned "But I don't-" then she stoped, staring at the people standing behind Mr. Aizawa and Nezu, I didn't know they allowed that, I looked to her, but instead of a joyous smile or a laugh, she just stood there, shock clear on her face, we all stood in a group and l/n looked at us, that's when I realized I couldn't move, I tried but it was just not working anytime soon, I had to just watch it go down....

The fight ended and l/n landed on the ground, holding on to Kara for support, me and Midoriya were the first to run over, Midoriya was starting to panic and as was I, she fell into my arms and looked up at me one last time before she smiled and passed out, I picked her up bridle style, that's when I noticed she wasn't breathing, I started to panic, I turned to Midoriya with a look of desperation in my eyes, "She's not breathing!" I yelled, he seemed to get an idea and he sprinted off, I set her down on the ground and checked her pulse again, her heart was barely beating, all the students and staff crowded around, Midoriya pushed through them and plunged a needle into her wrist, I yelled at him, "What the hell are you doing!?" I knew this wasn't like me, but, just, she had to live, I could NOT, let her die, I needed her, "Her drawback! Remember?!" That's right, she showed us the antidote, my face flushed slightly as I remembered that she called me pretty boy, soon the pros took her and I tried to trail along, "Todoroki, I'm sorry but you must stay here." Mr. Aizawa held out a hand to stop me, I nodded slowly, I walked back to Midoriya....

We all sat in the classroom, anxiously waiting for recovery girl to announce we could see l/n, Nezu started to explain, "I apologize for all of this, these people said they were her guardians and there was no record against it, if anyone knows anything about what happened out there, please do not be afraid to contact me after class." I looked at Midoriya next to me, he was nervously fidgeting with his hands, I could tell he was hiding something, "Midoriya." I said when Mr. Aizawa told us we could talk, he jumped and looked at me, "Y-Yes Todoroki?" I stared at him like I was interrogating him, he avoided my eyes, "It is very clear you are hiding something, if it involves l/n please inform the principle, it is not your place to tell me this information, I will get it from l/n myself." He nodded slowly and got his notebook out of his bag, he headed for the front of the class and spoke a few words to principle Nezu before handing the notebook to him, he came to sit back down and I observed principal Nezu's every move, he set the notebook on Mr. Aizawa's desk and started to read, I don't know what was written in there, but his eyes widened and he called all the other teachers over, Present Mic, Mr. Aizawa, All Might, And Midnight, they all looked shocked and read over it, I looked at Midoriya again, he was also staring at them, I looked around, it appeared as if majority of the class was as well, they called Midoriya back up and they talked for a bit before, the notebook was handed back and the teachers started to talk amongst themselves, soon recovery girl wobbled into the room, "L/n unfortunately had to be moved to an actual hospital, if I had helped her I could have killed her, she is at (Hospital Name), she is unconscious but you are allowed to visit her, just someone please bring her her stuff." She padded over to the teachers and started to talk to them, everyone started to get up, I figured all of us were heading to the hospital, all except Bakugo, we all got there and surely enough, she was passed out, she had cuts and bruises everywhere, all I could do was stare, everyone crowded around her, talking and checking if she was ok, "Everyone please give the poor girl some space! Your going to suffocate her!" I looked towards the small nurse standing in the doorway with her hands on her hips, everyone backed up except Midoriya, who merely sat down on the chair beside her bed, holding her hand slightly, he had a guilty look on his face, along with one as if he was thinking, he definitely knew something I didn't, for some reason this made me want to sneer, but I kept my composure, soon people started to pile out, they all said something along the lines 'If She wakes up, tell her we're here for her' or 'Tell her we all need to talk about this!' or 'We should beet her parents up!' Once everyone left I stood next to Midoriya, staring at l/n's face, she looked so peaceful, even with the small cut around her, I jumped when a hand was placed on my shoulder, I turned and it was just Midoriya, he was stood up, he smiled at me teary eyed, I sent him a small smile, he walked out, but not before talking with the nurse and showing her the antidote, I turned back to l/n and sat down, I stared at her hand, it looked so soft, so delicate, how could a hand like that cause so much destruction? I slowly grabbed her hand, glancing up to make sure she didn't wake, soon I held her hand and stared up at her, again taking in all her features, I soon laid my head on her stomach, confident she wouldn't wake up, listening to her soft breaths  and heart beat somehow lulled me to sleep...
