Bokuto x niece child reader

Hey guys here we go I love this little owl so CUTE! Anyways, this was requested by Twilight119 I hope you like it!

Bokuto hummed as he walked to his friend Akaashi's house, the two had graduated high school, stayed friends in college. And now Akaashi was married with a four year old daughter, (y/n). And tonight was Akaashi's five year anniversary with his wife. So now uncle Bokuto got to babysit you for two days. "Thanks again for doing this Bokuto, we really appreciate this." Akaashi's wife said, letting the young owl into the house. "No problem, I love watching my niece." Akaashi came from the kitchen, "Ok Bokuto, (y/n) is taking her nap right now, I left the number of the place we're staying at, she already ate lunch, and there's plenty of food in fridge for you two. Oh and Bokuto?" Akaashi had paused in the doorway on his way to leaving, "If anything happens to my little princess I will see to it that you are six feet under, got it?" Gulping, Bokuto nodded his head, not wanting to feel his wrath. The young man left, Bokuto going to the fridge for something to snack on.

"Papa?" Bokuto turned to see you come into the kitchen, holding your blankie. "Uncle Bokie? What are you doing here?" "Hey hey hey (y/n)! Your parents went out for the night, so you get to hang out with your favorite uncle!" Your face split into a wide grin as you ran and hugged Bokuto, laughing he picked you up and tickled you, before going back into the living room. You two had a blast, making forts, playing dress up, and board games. "Uncle Bokie? I'm hungry, can we have pizza for dinner?" " Why not? I haven't had that in a long time." Bokuto pulled a frozen pizza out of the freezer and put it in the oven. After dinner, Bokuto helped you get ready for bed, as the time came for you to go to bed, you became hesitant. " What's wrong honey?" " I miss papa and mommy." Tears started to form in your eyes, Bokuto scooped you up and gently shushed you. " Aww its okay baby, your papa and mommy will be home tomorrow, come on you can sleep with me."

The next morning......

Bokuto yawned slightly, it was early in the morning, you woke up early, asking for breakfast. Bokuto thanked the high heavens for the invention of frozen waffles. The last time he watched you overnight and had tried to make homemade waffles well.... let's just say the kitchen had to be remodeled and Akaashi had to prevent himself from killing his friend. Anyways, he was finishing up his coffee when he received a text, your parents were on their way home. "Hey hey hey (y/n), why don't draw a picture for your parents for when they come home?" Your eyes widening, looking like you did on Christmas morning, you rushed to your room to get your supplies. Bokuto quickly following after you to wipe your sticky fingers and face from the syrup. After you were cleaned up, Bokuto helped you set up your stuff on the coffee table in the living room. You were just finishing your picture when the front door opened, your mom walking through the door. "MOMMY!" You ran and hugged your mother, with Akaashi coming up behind with the suitcases. Bokuto walked up to Akaashi and whispered to him "Have fun?" Akaashi blushed and smacked Bokuto upside the head, "PAPA!" Akaashi smiled and bent down to pick you up. "Did you have a good time with uncle Bokuto?" You nodded with a big smile on your face. "Oh I made this for you and mommy!" It was a picture of you and your mother and two owls. "Who are the owls sweetie.?" Your mother asked "Papa and uncle Bokie, cause uncle Bokie said that when they were in school, they were owls. Mommy does that mean I'm part owl?" Akaashi looked at his friend and Bokuto knew he would have some explaining to do, but he would gladly do it to see you smile.
