"What do you mean he is fighting Order?!" I managed to choke out between sobs. Selena herself was a little shocked at Chaos's words.

"I mean Percy is in an infinite battle with Order over his consciousness." Chaos watched over Percy as his right arm snapped at the elbow before being clicked back into place and healing itself.

"How does one of them win?" Luke asked, I looked at him thankfully as the words seemed stuck in my throat.

"They can't" I let another sob escape my lips.

"What?"

"The only way for... it," He gestured to Percy's body. "to wake up. Is if they agree to join together. It doesn't matter how many times they maim, injure or even kill each other in there. The only way for them to wake up is for them to come to an agreement and become one. One body cannot have two consciences. We just have to hope that it isn't Percy that gives in first, that he can convince Order of another way. But even if he does, he will still be part Order, part himself. There's no way of knowing what he will be like."

We all looked at him in shock. I broke. No matter what, my Percy was gone. Again.

Percy POV:

I landed on the hard floor again. Order had successfully flipped me over his shoulder. We were both panting heavily. I rolled over onto my side, I could feel that he had managed to break three of my ribs inward as there was an excruciating pain in my left side every time I breathed. I knew it was going to hurt but I had to do it otherwise he would kill me again.

I rolled onto my back and took a deep breath as I shoved my left hand into my ribcage, hooking my fingers around the first rib I pulled upward and I felt it click back into place. I repeated this action with the other two rib bones. Gasping for breath as I sat up and clenched my side. Order was standing at the wall, pressing his back into it resting as he watched me place my ribs back.

"You are strong Perseus." I slowly lifted my gaze to his.

"Was that a compliment?"

"More of an observation." He was too tired to put any venom to his words. I could see that he actually meant it. Had I just earned an ounce of respect from Order?

"You know, you're not so bad yourself." I rubbed my jawbone as he chuckled, causing him to gasp suddenly and clutch his side in pain. The silence resumed. Neither one of us moved however. Order slid down the wall and sat, I placed my right hand behind me and rested my weight on it. Both of us trying to breath as we slowly healed.

"How long do you think we've been here?" I looked toward the ceiling to find a dark expanse, I couldn't tell how far it went up.

"I'm no longer certain, I have no access to my powers and therefore no knowledge of anything but what is right here. Is this how you mortals live? I feel sorry for you."

"The evil Primordial Order, feeling empathy? Never thought I'd see the day."

"The sarcasm Perseus. Seriously? Is it necessary?"

"Always" I chuckled. "Please, call me Percy. I don't see us getting out of here any time soon so please stop using my full name."

"Alright then, Percy." It felt weird for him to say it, but I seriously hate being called Perseus so it was the lesser of two evils.

"I'm not entirely evil you know?" I looked back up at him, my eyebrows up in shock, I coughed and spat out the blood. Turning back to stare at him.

"You were saying?" He rolled his eyes before sighing which made him clutch his chest again.

"I'm not evil. I'm not profoundly immoral or wicked."

"You want to decimate earth and its inhabitants, including the humans, the gods and Chaos. And you want to rule the universe." He looked to the side and let out his breath.

"I don't want that. I don't want to kill everyone, I don't want decimate earth or rule the universe. Didn't you notice, I never attacked anyone other than you or Chaos. I actually rather like earth, you know, it was half my creation." I was shocked. Had I just been told lies? What was really going on here?

"What? So why did you attack me and Chaos?" He looked up at me, I could see sadness in his eyes.

"After Chaos and I created this universe, created earth, we were happy. Watching over the inhabitants, letting chaos and order balance themselves out. I made myself a corporeal form and went to earth, meeting the primordials and titans. I fell in love. Chaos had created the Primordials and basically looked upon them as daughters and sons. Chaos saw that I was in love with one of his offspring and grew jealous, he didn't want me to take what was his. So he threw me into the Void. He then turned my love against me and I had to watch as they slowly forgot who I was. As the whole universe forgot I existed."

I couldn't believe that the Chaos I knew today could have done that to someone. That he threw his brother aside just to keep what was his.

"There's no way Chaos would have done that! You're lying." As he looked up at me I saw the broken look in his eyes. I gasped. He looked down.

"All I want is to be remembered again. For the one I love to remember me again." I watched as a tear slipped out of his eye.

"But, killing Chaos, that's not the best way to go about that." He looked up at me.

"My brother hates me, why would he listen to me? Why now would he let me be with one of his kids?"

"Chaos has changed since you knew him. The world has changed since you were here. Things can be different now." I made my way over to the wall next to Order.

"Well," He chuckled, "not now, we're stuck here." He closed his eyes and hung his head.

I placed my hand over his gently, a friendly gesture. He smiled back and we both looked at the floor.

"We should stop fighting each other" We both said it in unison and turned to look at the other. The room slowly started to glow. I didn't know what was happening but the light started getting brighter so I had to close my eyes. I could feel Order next to me but then we slammed into each other by some unknown force. Merging into one. I could feel our brains connect, sharing our memories. I gasped as I watched Order slowly battle and claw his way out of the void. I felt the betrayal of Chaos as he was thrown in. I watched as they both laughed with each other after creating Gaia/Earth.

I watched Order become corporeal to visit the Primordials. I saw as he fell in love entranced by their beauty. I smiled as I saw who it was. The primordial of love and affection. Eros.
