Percy's POV..

My new heart was strange. It gave me more energy. I felt like I could do anything. You know how those ninjas in movies move really fast, that's what I could do. I didn't have to wait for my heart anymore. My curse was lifted! I was free.

I slowly regained feeling in my body and my eyes fluttered open. I looked around the empty room when something caught my eye. A sink. Water. I quickly thanked chaos and controlled it to unlock me from the chains that were keeping me up and drenched myself in it giving me a boost of energy and healing my cuts. I pulled the sword out of my stomach and sheathed it after wiping it of my blood. I reattached my cloak and opened the door using a small trick I learned from Leo.

I placed my hand on the door and concentrated on the lock. I heard the click, so I pushed the door slightly and saw the guards. Two heavily armed, butch males. Order had pulled out all the stops to keep me here. Except one thing, I had a new heart that gave me more energy and made the blood run to parts of my body that had been numb for a while aka my brain. Making me sharper and more aware. I lit my index finger alight with my black flame then decided that the punishment was a little too harsh. So I changed it to an ordinary flame and touched each of the guards material t-shirts so that they went up in flames.

I knew the picture field would follow me so I carried on moving pretending not to hear the poor guard's screams. As I walked down the corridor I came face to face with a few monsters that wanted me dead. However the Empousa's and the drakon are no more as I defeated them with my new and improved ninja skills! Wow, I sound just like Leo.

I went right around a corner and there it was. The exit. Well, I mean I didn't think it would be that obvious, you know with the neon green exit sign and the arrow. My eyebrows furrowed as I opened the door to the outside world. Nothing. Just green fields and a crossroad sign pointing to Long Island. I looked back inside. This was too easy. I could just leave? It didn't make sense. I was actually quite disappointed.

I had escaped. hmm, well then. "Bye, order and thanks for the torture. It was nice getting to know you. Lazy sod!" I mumbled and left. Walking towards the crossroad sign.

"Omega! Come in, we need you!" This wasn't Chaos or the rest of the army. This was...

Annabeth POV... (sorry)

We all watched gobsmacked at how easily he escaped from the prison. He somehow was alive. My Percy was alive. I'd lost him. Then i'd found him. Then i'd lost him again and now he's back. But why did he lie? He lied to me, as Omega, he lied to me about where he was. That he was dead, that he was broken, but my Seaweed brain didn't look broken. Except from his heart! Oh my gods, his heart. It made me sick. It was blue and purple and looked dead.

I still didn't understand how he was alive still without a heart. He died and then he just wakes up and breaks out. He had a strategy as well. My seaweed brain is no longer a seaweed brain. I was being comforted by Thalia who had come up to the meeting with the rest of us. We had seen everything and to be honest I wasn't the one taking it the hardest. Leo was. He kept saying how Percy used his old trick to open the door and how proud he was, also how mad he was because Percy didn't tell him he was alive. I think Leo is bipolar.

He killed those Drakons and Empousas like it was nothing. Leo and Jason were jealous that he could move like a ninja. Tears leaked down my face. I couldn't move. My eyes were stuck to the screen of the picture thing that the army brought with them. My heart felt heavy as I watched Percy. when he came to the sign, he stopped. Looked as though he was thinking. He turned toward us and smirked. The army looked shocked and mumbled things like "how did he know?" and "no one knows about the picture field. I made it that way!"
