"Mel you've got some visitors here for you!!, wow that's something I never thought I'd say" Nat's annoying voice echoed through the house, here Mel was thinking she'd stay at home and try to figure out her life, Nuriel had gone, promising her that he'd be back, and Mel just wanted nothing more but to wallow in self pity as she reflects on everything going on, she had already showered and put on a robe but didn't feel like leaving her room, so she put on something more appropriate, she put on her faded tank top with her sweats, as much as she dreaded leaving her room she had to go meet her 'guests' in the living room.

"Hey guys" Mel said trying to ignore the act that Nat's legs were resting on Jophiel's leg, the poor guy looked so uncomfortable, yesterday we was hitting on Nuriel now him, wow she is really good at being subtle, "hello Aymeline hope you slept well", Nuriel asked d subtly asking if she saw the demon again, "yes Nuriel I slept well, I'm sure you guys are hungry, cmon Nat let's get something for them" Mel said, she really didn't want to say anything but the poor guy was as stiff as a board, she didn't bother to wait for a reply she pulled Nat of the sofa and dragging her to the kitchen not missing the 'thank you' mouthed by Jophiel.

All through Mel's life she had always known Nat to always get what she wants, and if she doesn't get it, she could go through any length to get it, but not this time, "what the hell is your problem Mel? "Nat asked as she yanked her hand from Mel", ", what the hell is my problem?! You!, you're my problem, our parents just died and the next thing for you is to start hitting on any guy you see!" Mel could not hold it anymore, she was sick and tired of Nat's attitude "you know what Mel, I think you're just jealous that I can get anybody I want including you're 'friends', and you're just cursed to be a loner all the rest of your life!" Nat spat out venomously, "you know what, I honestly can't find a fuck to give, just stay away from those guys, they are wayyyy out of your league!", and with that Mel grabbed bag of chips and stormed out of the kitchen
The guys looked at Mel, obviously over hearing the conversation,
Nuriel decided to break the tension
"Uhm we are going to the new pizza place, wanna join? ", Mel could not have been happier.

Leaving the house for Nat, Mel felt a lot better, now seated in a small cafe with the boys, she had been thrown into a very awkward position giving up that the boys listened to the entire conversation, she had second thoughts
Deciding to break the silence, Mel spoke up "I'm really sorry you guys had to witness all that", she said feeling the need to say something
Sighing, Nuriel spoke up "you don't have to apologize for anything Aymeline", hearing her name from Nuriel always cause this warm sensation over her.
The four of them talked like old friends for what seems to be hours before deciding to call it a night, and escorting Mel back home.
Though Mel still couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched by someone, but she was alone in her room, Nat had called it a night with her boy toy, so she was certain that it was not Nat, but Mel didn't feel any need to panic, as absurd as it may seem, giving that a demon king is been on having her, she feels..... Safe.
