"What's for dinner she asked"
"Breakfast,"
"But we had breakfast,"
"Yes, but we're gonna have to break for dinner,"
She looked at me confused.
I picked her up and sat her on the counter
I began to make the pancakes.
"Do you want colored pancakes?"
"Yeah!"
I grabbed the food dye.
"Which color?"
"Pink!"
I made her pink pancakes.
I finished and called everyone down. I sat everything on the table. I picked her up and put her down. I sat everything down everyone came down and sat down.
After dinner which was quite awkward and quite. "I'm going on a walk," I told Kate she nodded.
I grabbed my jacket and put it around me and began to walk to the gate. I climbed under and walked around I found a pretty flower Field I sat down and closed my eyes. I felt peaceful I saw a phone box so I walked over and called my mom.
She wouldn't answer so I left a voice message
"Hi mom um, I miss you and mom, I love you," I hung up.
It began to get dark so I climbed onto the roof of a Closed store. I watched as the sunset. As it set I headed back.
I felt nervous it was cold. I Hurd wolds howl, dogs bark, people from the town talk, cars passed me. I got back and climbed under and ran back to the house. I saw Kate's car was gone. I went into the house.
"Y/n,"
"Mrs.Grose, where's Kate?"
"Looking for you,"
"Oh,"
I headed to my room. I went to my room Miles was just standing there. I stood at the door frame.
"Um, mikes?"
He turned I walked in.
"What are you doing?" I asked him.
He didn't answer.
He's so fucking creepy.
He kinda looked at me.
"I know," he whispered
"Um, Miles please leave," he slowly walked out I walked to the door my heart was pounding as I shut the door.
"That was so weird..." I locked the door and changed into my pajamas I sat on my bed and began to read my book. I got the same feeling my heart was pounding my chest hurt there was knock at the door making game jump.
I got up and opened it was Kate.
"Omg, I'm so glad you're okay,"
"I'm fine Kate,"
She hugged me
"Hey Um do you know how my family is doing?"
"No, I can give them a call,"
"No it's okay..."
"Okay well tell me if you need anything.
I shut the door and picked up my phone and called my fathers phone.
He didn't answer. I sighed the door opened
"You should stop calling them," I Hurd miles say I turned and saw him at my door.
"How did you know...and why shouldn't I call them,"
"They're dead."
"Got your so dumb,"
I shut my door. I locked my door I laid on my bed confused.
How did he know I called my parents. What if he's right what if they are dead. No, they are fine.
