I got home from school I sat my books in the trash. I got home to my parents putting things in the car. I walked up to the door and then inside.
"Mom! Dad?"
My mom was on the phone.
"so can she come with you?" I walked over to my dad
"What's happening?"
"You're going to stay with Kate and the two kids she Nanning,"
"What the hell?!? You now tell me this!"
"We found out we have to go for a while and you can't come, sweetie, it will be ok,"
He kissed my forehead.
"We love you," he said.
"Honey,"
I walked over to my mom.
"You're leaving me with Kate And two little kids! I love Kate she's super nice but I don't wanna be with two little kids!"
"One of your age it will be a new experience! sweetie, we'll call you. It will be ok, go back she's picking you up today,"
I walked off angrily, anxious and annoyed.
I packed a lot in the suitcase I grabbed a little back and put pads and tampons. Then Advil, and my toothbrush, toothpaste, my brush and everything else I need. I sighed I hate this.
I bit my lip and brushed my hair. I smiled at the photo of me and my friends. I smiled a bit wondering to myself if the guy was cute. I chuckled to myself.
I sat on my bed and listens to music. About an hour later.
"Kate's here!" My father yelled.
I kissed both of them. Kate was my mother's cousin. She was a cool cousin. I always joked Bc she took me a lot of places. One time I was at her place when her. Roommate Was seeing her family she got drunk and I smoke weed with her. My mom doesn't know.
Kate got out we did our dumb handshake.
"Hey girl!" I said
"Hey, lets put the stuff in the back,"
I put them in the trunk.
"You so pretty! I haven't seen you in so long I feel you get prettier every time I see you!" She said.
"I look like trash I'm not pretty,"
"Be quiet! Ok, so the kids are a little weird. But where ok when you get to know them to get close with flora the little girl first then miles," she said.
I nodded.
I hugged and kissed my mom goodbye. I got in the car a boy was in the front seat. He was pale with dark curly hair. He was really cute.
"Hi, I'm y/n,"
I said putting a handout.
He ignored me I nodded and sat back. My parents talked to Kate then she got in the car.
"Are you ready?" She asked me.
I nodded
"We're the little girl?"
"She's at the house," I nodded I laid back and sang to the music.
We stopped at a gas station and got drinks.
"I like your hair," I told the boy with the dead eyes.
"I know," he muttered.
Wow rude I though we got drinks and got back in the car. I sat in the front this time.
I and Kate talked a lot. We talked about boys, we talked about school and more.
"OH my god! There's this one guy, he asked me out before school was over,"
"And?"
" I said yes but I have to let him down now,"
I looked back at miles he looked out the window.
"Why?" She asked
"I'm gonna be here I won't see him but it's ok,"
We pulled into the gate it was dark and creepy but big and pretty.
We got out. A little girl ran to the car. She was Cute!
"Hi, cutie! I'm y/n" I said
She was holding a doll and looks down and smiled "your pretty," she whispered. I smiled and got down to her hight.
"And your beautiful, I think we're gonna have fun!" She smiled.
Miles pushed me over I fell over I scraped my hands.
He walked off without saying sorry.
She giggled.
"Want to play with me?" She asked softly.
"Let me take my bags to my room and we can play whatever you want to,"
I grabbed my bag one was gone. I thought maybe Kate grabbed it.
I walked into the place.
It was honestly beautiful I was glad I got to come.
