Blissful Ignorance

I walk past your door

Hoping you would see me.

I wait outside till the sun sets

Wishing you would smile at me,

Like the free birds do at the dimming sun.

But you were lost

In your dream world

Not able to see

Your admirer

Maybe you weren't looking

Or just seeing, but not knowing.

It maybe the thousand reasons

Why I stood alone

At the balcony

As alone as the moon feels

Every night.

But the most impressive reason,

While I sought your affection

Others smiled at your,

Blissful Ignorance.

Well, we move on.
