I know, its difficult

But take my hand

We will dance through the night

I can see your frightened gaze

But look in my eyes

All your worries will fade

We have so little time together

But just walk with me

And the world will slow down

I can feel the pressure

But listen to our song

Things will get better

We will say to each other

All our lives

Hi, everyone. I was inspired to write this poem after I watched La La Land for the first time and it made me realise truly how less time we have with our loved ones.

So, treasure your moments with them, be your parents, siblings, friends, beloved. Dance with them, sing for them, take walks, go look at the stars, we all know they won't last for long.
