East Germany walks along the street of Berlin, wandering around like a typical German. His people would wave at him with respect, since his father lead the whole country. His brother, West Germany was ill and should've helped him gallivant.

He started being concerned of meeting other countries in Some places, there was one time when he met Serbia just outside their house. From the Red, blue and white color of his head, he looked just like a country. When he tried to get his attention, he looked immediately.

Germany felt silent, and Serbia just smiled. "Hello!" He waved, it seems as if they have the same age... It took a second for him to say it back. "Was..This your house? Sorry to disturb you.. I'm just waiting for my dad to fetch me here.."

"..Fetch..?" He repeated. "..Yeah." Silence surrounded the both of them, they stared at each other awkwardly. "So.." Serbia began, "How's your father?" He asks shyly, making a conversation. "Oh, Reich? He's fine..I guess, how about yours?" East Germany sat on the porch, "I don't know, I've heard that officers of the Army in our kingdom created a secret group--I don't know if I should be telling you this.." Serbia hesitates, thinking that maybe it would ruin their careers.

"Well, you can tell it to me.. I promise I'd keep it as a secret I guess.." Serbia sat beside him, making him feel odd. "Really? Well then.. It's called the..."
A German mercedes arrived in front of them, what he said blurred from the noise. East heard it anyway. "Oh dad's here!" He stood then went towards the vehicle. Germany saw Serbia's father, he had the same flag as his but with an eye patch on his right eye, they both met their eyes.

Germany forced a smile on his face, but Serbia's father only glared. Making his smile fade. "Goodbye, Germany!" Serbia waved, or maybe Serbia's son waved. Germany raised a hand, as the vehicle drove away, leaving him standing there. "The black hand.."

The black hand, the name echoed in his ears. He was looking at the ground, not minding his path. He suddenly bumped into somebody. "Entschuldige-" his words stopped when he looked at the person he bumped into. His eyes widened, and so did the other country.

"Poland!?" He exclaimed. "Uh..Hey..!" Poland was holding something, then hid it behind him. "How are you?" Germany asked, then he realized.."Why are you here?"
"Oh you know.. just hanging out cuz your capital's um..Amazing! Hehe.." he slowly leaves, going beside Germany. He knew that he was in a rush.

"What's wrong?" He asked, facing behind him to see Poland ready to go again. He sighed, then answered, "Look I'm in a hurry right now.. m-maybe we can talk after I go somewhere okay? My aunt's probably waiting for me.. so..
Auf wadersohen!" His voice trembles, still trying to hide it. "Its Auf wiedersehen.." he corrects, "Whatever--Goodbye!" Then he ran, breathing heavily. He sees that what he was hiding was a book..

East sighed, losing courage already, he was about to go back home when somebody called. "Sir,Sir!" A man with a hat came running to him. "Have you seen a person running this way and carrying a book? He's a Thief!" Germany's eyes widened blinking twice. He looks back at the direction were Poland ran.

"I.." he stopped, then inhaled a deep breath. "No..I did not..But maybe I'll try to find him and give it back?"
"Please sir! I'm running out of air..." The man breathes heavily, sweating.
East looked up

"Why is it always like this?"
