The last interview of the day!

Let's get into it!

1. What motivated you to start writing your story? Do you enjoy writing or is it more of a chore for you?

My first story ARDEN, well at least the first chapter, was a reoccurring dream. Every night for a week I just kept dreaming of this girl, stood before the most beautiful view atop a cliff, before she leapt off the edge into the water below. And for the most part I enjoy writing, initially when ARDEN started to blow up it was a lot of pressure to keep uploading despite having no ideas for what to write next, I have never anticipated anyone to read my work, let alone for it to blow up like that. But yeah it did get to me at times, it was frustrating when I would get literally twenty people begging me to update when I have only just posted another chapter 20 minutes before. Now that everything has sort of settled down since ARDEN and AMELIA were published I have a lovely band of loyal followers who understand that sometimes I have other things to do than write, or even when I have no ideas and don’t want to put out anything sub-par.

2. How did you stumble upon Wattpad ? Have you always known about it?

Haha I found out about it from a girl I used to play Minecraft with when I was like 12, she lived in America and had published a story and asked me to go read it.

3. Who is your favourite writer on wattpad so far? And which book drew you to them?

I don’t ever read on wattpad anymore, I don’t have the time what with exams and my horse. As well as for a while I felt like all the wattpad books were all starting to sound the same. Well that and I am very specific in what I want from a book and I could never quite seem to find something that checked all the boxes, which is another main reason why I started writing.

4. What is your aim for your wattpad career? Anything specific you would like to achieve?

I already have several contracts with sites like dream, however once those contracts expire in a few years I hope to take up new contracts with radish :)

5. Tell us something interesting about yourself that your readers may not know!

I mean, I spent most of my time either at the stables, at the gym or in college so I don’t really have much time for anything else lol. I occasionally model if that’s interesting? Probably not

6. How did you choose your wattpad username? Was it challenging or did it just come easily?

Well my old username was my name and when ARDEN blew up people kept finding all my other social media’s and messaging me on them so I had to change it. I already had a book called THE FALL OF ARTEMIS so I thought that was good enough😂

7. Can you name some accounts that have improved your wattpad experience? Eg: friends you may have met here!

I only really have one account that I message every now and again but am not sure she would want me to tag her on here, I do get messages from people but most of them are just people asking questions or being nice about something I’ve written😂

8. What is your favourite thing about being on wattpad?

Probably the response of the people! Nothing is more rewarding then reading through comments people have left and trust me I read all of them!

9. How did you decide on the plot and title of your current book? Tell us!

TO KILL A KING was another dream, much like ARDEN. And as for the title... well once you read it you’ll find it quite obvious why it’s called that ;)

10. Is there anything else you would like to say to the audience ?

Thank you so much, I know it’s cringe but if it wasn’t for the overwhelming feedback I would’ve quit ages ago! So keep the comments coming! All are welcome, especially constructive criticism! I’m always looking to learn and grow for my audience :)
