Sweat dripped from my forehead and body as I trained as hard as I could. There were major improvement on my illusions but when it came to my fire it was just it's own thing. I've let it be in control yet reeling it in if it got out of hand. It didn't really work. I trained when no one was around because Noelle should get the spotlight since she needed the support.

No one seemed to notice, Finral who was sleeping in the same room as me thought I just went for bathroom breaks in the night. It had been nearly a week yet Noelle still wasn't catching onto it. I decided maybe I could help her in the morning. I sighed and continued training my body until morning came up. I just rested on the beach until Magna came over.

Immediately, I stopped what I was doing and sat up. Magna sat on the ground and let out a hefty sigh. He was panting heavily which was probably from Luck chasing him. I walked over to him and sat down next to him. He jumped when he saw me but relaxed upon realising it was me.

"Man, I'm beat. What have you been doing?"

"Resting from training"

"Oh, you're the one that's been going off at night! I really thought you were a ghost in the hallway haha!"

Tuning to the ground, I made a coconut tree grow with my hand. I grew it until it bore a fruit which dropped in my hands. Magna watched with curious eyes as I took it to a rock and cracked it open before handing it to him. Eagerly, his eyes lit up as he began drinking it. Gulping it down, he then fell back onto the sand with a smile after letting a sigh. I sat down again with my knees to my chest.

"I never knew you could do stuff like this, I thought you were just a Flower boy, this is pretty rad"

"Magna...how do you control your fire?"

"Huh? Well I don't really think about it, I just tell it what to do and it listens. Wait why are you asking me this?"

I said nothing as I stood up and walked away. He began yelling at how rude I was but I was going to try his technique. I held both my arms out and just demanded how I pictured the flames to happen. Massive blue tinged flames erupted and I tried keeping the image in mind but I lost control. It grew bigger and bigger that I ended up running to the ocean to plunge my hand in. Steam emitting from the water.

"Woah, I didn't know you weren't a flower boy exclusive"

"I still don't have much control"

"Everyone's techniques are normally different"

Exhausted, I went into the water to feel fresher. Once I did, I emerged and sweeped the hair out of my face. I smiled at how warm the water was. I got back out and laid on the sand , not caring if it stuck to me. Magna sat down next to me as he asked me if I wanted another shirt.

"No, it's fine, this one will dry up"

Magna and I sat in silence before he saw Asta and Noelle go and train. I followed him up the hill and heard him yelling his encouragement at Noelle. Asta gave his own as Kahono told her to think of her positive memories. I encouraged her too with a smile and a thumbs up. I told her I'd make her a great breakfast if she did. She decided to try and even though at first it didn't seem to go so well.

Soon enough, Noelle succeeded although she lost concentration and fell into Asta's arms. I laughed as the water hit me all over while Magna grumbled. Finral got upset because he was supposed to catch her while Charmy just handed her food of encouragement. We all laughed as I sensed Kahono leave. She left with a few words of her own.

The full moon was tommorow, I decided to give it one last try. It was nighttime. I put in several attempts but only ended up having my magic lash out against me. I screamed out in frustration before falling to the ground. I want to succeed yet here I was failing. I pushed myself off the ground and tried so many times. However, I failed time and time again.
