"Wh-Wha-What?" the girl sputtered, looking at Elsa in utter disbelief. "You c-can't!!" Keeping her eyes glued to the girl in her arms, Elsa squeezed the girl's thigh gently and smiled. "Why not?" She asked inquisitively. "Because you're hurt!" The girl hollered. Elsa only rolled her eyes and chuckled. "Please, I'll take care of that later." She wanted to take care of her foot now, but there were other people that she had to take care of. Speaking of people... Her eyes widened at the the thought of her friend lying on the pavement, bloody and bruised. "Lucas!" Elsa screamed as she hobbled down the sidewalk, no longer caring for the pain that shot up her leg every time her wounded foot hit the pavement. She had to see him, to see if he was okay... Now! Elsa stopped at the corner and set the girl down gently. "Wait here. I have to check on someone." she ordered. She waited until the girl nodded, then set off in search for Lucas. "Lucas!" Elsa cried. "Lucas! Where are you? It's me, Elsa!" She spun around on her heel, slightly lifting her wounded foot to keep it from dragging along the pavement. "God, where is he?" she whined. She wanted to get him some medical help, pronto. He looked too torn and battered to do anything on his own, and Elsa couldn't bear the thought of him lying somewhere else, probably in a worse condition then when she found him. She felt tears sting in her eyes until a hand on her shoulder caused her to jump and she wiped them away. Turning around, she saw the girl with her eyes slanted and her head tilted to the side. "Are you alright?" she asked, her voice filled with worry. Elsa cleared her throat and slipped her hoodie over her head quickly. "Uh, yeah." she replied. Scooping the girl back into her arms with one swift motion, Elsa turned around and began to jog towards the apartment complex that she called "home". "Where are we going?" the girl asked. "Man, this chick sure does ask a lot of questions..." Elsa sighed. Once inside, Elsa groaned and laid the girl down on her couch gently. The girl looked around nervously, avoiding Elsa's worried gaze, and humming softly to herself. "So, um, what's your name...?" Elsa asked. She sat on the ottoman across from the couch and eyed the girl warily. The girl looked down at Elsa briefly, cleared her throat, and said: "My name is Anna." "Oh!" Elsa chirped. "That's a very beautiful name!" Anna blushed and smiled, avoided Elsa's gaze and looked around the room. "So, uh, would you mind telling me what happened in the store...?" Elsa mumbled. She locked eyes with Anna and crossed her arms. "I really need to know... And right now, you're the only one who can help me." Anna's smile faded as the memories replayed in her mind. She leaned back with a sigh and covered her face. Elsa stood up quickly with a hiss and placed her hand on Anna's shoulder. "Hey, I'm sorry." Elsa mumbled. "You don't have to talk about it now if it makes you too uncomfortable..." Anna shook her head quickly and removed her hands. "No, no... It's not that... I mean... It's just that..." "Just what?" Elsa asked. Now she was really lost. What was the girl getting at?
