Chapter 6

I got out the car and walked up to Laxus.

"Were is Mira?" I asked.

"Lucy what happened? I saw you with Natsu." Laxus said.

"I went to drop him off at his house." I shook.

"Okay good. As long as he didn't ask you out." Laxus sighed.

"Um.. Laxus there's something you need to know." I said.

"What might that be?" Dad said behind me.

"First let's go inside." I walked towards the door.

"Lucy what is this thing you wanted to tell me?" Laxus asked.

"I um... Natsu asked me do I like him and I said yes. And then He asked me to be his girlfriend and I said Okay." I said that rather fast.

"He's dead." Laxus punched his fist.

"Laxus please don't." I begged him.

"Fine then. I want to meet him and his family." Dad said.

"When?" I asked.

"Tomorrow, after school." Dad said.

"Jude your just going to let it slide?" Laxus asked.

"Yes as long as he doesn't mess this up." Dad said.

~next day~

Natsu picked me up for school. When we walked through the class room door, Levy and Gajeel were talking.

"Hi Lucy." Levy hugged me.

"Hi." I hugged back.

"So the 2 of you dating or what?" Gajeel asked.

"Yeah." Natsu smiled.

"Yeah Lu-chan." Levy said.

"This was not easy. My dad wants to meet his family." I smiled.

"Alright class. Sit down." Gildarts shouted.

Everyone walked to their seats. Gildarts went on and on about group projects. Something about group of 4. Me, Levy, Gajeel, and Natsu are in a group together.

~after school~

I walked out of school and Natsu wasn't around. Someone grabbed me and lifted me up from the ground. I let out a scream.

"She isn't that heave." Natsu said to the boys.

"I told you." Laxus said.

"Natsu what the hell." I wiggled around.

"What. They wanted to know if your boobs make you heavy." Natsu shrugged.

"What do you boys even talk about?" Erza asked.

"Boy stuff." Laxus said.

Natsu let me down and gave me a kiss.

"No, stop kissing." Laxus pulled Natsu away.

I laughed and Natsu took me home. I walked to my room and took a shower. I got dressed in white mid thigh length dresses and some white heels. I brushed my hair up into a bun. I waited for Natsu to show up.

~3 hours later~

I sat on the couch and started to worry. My phone went off.

"Hello."

"I'm sorry Lucy. I can't make it. We got into a car accident. My mom was injured the most." Natsu said.

"Are you Okay. Were are you?" I jumped up.

"I'm at the hospital. I'm Fine."

"Alright I'm on my way." I said and hung up.

I grabbed my car keys and Dad looked at me.

"Natsu got in a car accident. Him and his family are in the hospital." I explained and dad got in my car.

I drove to the hospital and I ran to the front lady.

"There was a family who came in earlier after a car accident. Where are they?" I almost yelled.

"Their name?" The lady said.

"Dragneel." I said.

"Room 307." She pointed.

Me and my dad ran to the room. Dad almost busted down the door.

"Lucy?" Mr. Dragneel looked confused.

"Hi." I waved.

Natsu hugged me. He held me the whole time, until the doctor came in.

"She has internal bleeding, she will have to have surgery." The doctor said.

"How much will it cost?" Mr. Dragneel and my dad said at the same time.

"$24k." The doctor looked at the clip board.

"I'll pay for it." My dad pulled out his wallet.

"You don't have to." Zeref said.

"It's the best I could do." My dad said.

Natsu's hug got tighter. I looked up at him.

"Natsu, are you Okay?" I asked.

"Yeah. I just need some air." He walked out.

Mr. Dragneel was quiet. My dad paid for the surgery. The doctor took Mrs. Dragneel away. I went to look for Natsu. I walked outside.

"Natsu?" I walked up to him.

"I just want to hang out here for now." Natsu looked up at me.

"Alright. Let me hang out with you." I hugged him.

"Okay." Natsu gave me a kiss.

We sat outside for an hour until Zeref came. He had a sad expression, and he seemed to hesitate. Natsu seemed to notice.

"Zeref, what's wrong." Natsu asked.

"Mom..... mom is dead." Zeref looked Natsu in the eye.

Natsu almost collapsed. I grabbed him and he just cried. Seeing this just makes me sad. I hugged him.

" I don't.. . want to be here." Natsu mumbled.

"Alright....we'll leave." I said.

I hesitated to move. Dad walked out the door with Natsu's crying dad. Everyone got into the car and I drove to Natsu's house. We all got out and went inside.

"Lucy can you stay." Natsu asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"We'll stay the night." Dad looked lost.

I walked in Natsu's room and got him to lay down. I walked in the closet and changed into a shirt. I took off my heels and laid down with Natsu.
