Entering her classroom, some of her classmates greet her, she greets back and sits down.
This can't be real, why she?
Mei feels embarrassed that she got rejected by the boy her friend is crushing on. What if she finds out? It will be so awkward between them, what if they won't be friends anymore?
Mei looks out of the window, still hurt by the fact that Iwaizumi will never be her's.
Something needs to change, she can't always think about Iwaizumi, this boy can't ruin her perfect life. She has to get over him, somehow.

Mei already accepted that they are better off as friends, she cried enough. What if they become a couple? Will she get over him then?
When it is really over?
So many questions are popping into Mei's brain, but the Teacher came in so that means concentrating.
Not like yesterday where she barely paid attention, today would be a different day.
She answered the questions, took notes and did the Task's.
Proud of herself, because she can still follow the class easy.
Fast forward, it is now time for Lunch and Mei's heart is beating fast. She gets up and grabs her bento. Making her way to Abiko's class, she gets in and looks for her.

»oh hey Mei-chan what are you doing here?« Iwaizumi asks her.
»oh hi iwaizumi« she doesn't really looks at him and is searching for abiko, when she found her talking to some girls, she turns to him.
»i'm eating lunch with my new friend« she walks up to abiko and taps on her shoulders.
»hello.« Mei smiles, Abiko turns to her and her smile widens
»hello Kobayashi-san, ready for our lunch date?« she giggles
»actually wait
Iwaizumi do you want to eat with us?« Abiko clearly shocked and blushing, she whispers.
»are you insane? why are you asking him?« Abiko panics and Mei laughs
»calm down«
»Iwa-chan, are you eating with that weird girl? i thought you are eating with me.«Oikawa.
Mei looks at him, he sulks and crosses his hands, Iwaizumi rolls his eyes
»then eat with us you idiot.«Iwaizumi sits down next to Abiko because thats really the only way he can sit.
When Abiko noticed it, her face turned bloody-red, Mei laughing even harder now.
»uh Abiko-san right? We don't really talk that much so i hope this is not awkward for you.« Iwaizumi talks to her, while smiling.
Oikawa finally decided to stop being a drama queen, Mei is sitting on Abiko's desk, which is next to the Window.
Oikawa sits down on the window ledge, observing Mei.
»what is your problem, oikawa?«Mei asks, raising her left eyebrow.
Iwaizumi and Abiko are watching them
»Nothing, I just think that you are weird and interesting.« He grins.
»What? Why? are you stupid?«
»No i am not as you can see i am in Class 6, i just find you interesting and would like to know more about you. Is that wrong?«
»It is not, but I an really not that interesting, i hope you know that,and also you know that if you have good grades, you can still be pretty dumb?« Mei has a slight smile on her face, eating from her bento.
»I know that, but that is not the case.«
»Whatever.« They end the conversation and eat their lunches, clearly annoyed from each other.
»right, Kobayashi-san i wanted to ask you, are you in the music club? we are going to have a festival, and i think it would be perfect if you held a small concert, considering that you have a lot of fans on this school. Especially boys.«Abiko breaks the awkward tension,
»Yea i want to sign in but your being too good to me! i don't think i should do that.« shyly she tucks a single strand behind her ear.
»you are too hard on yourself, Mei-chan. I agree with Abiko-san. You should do that!« Iwaizumi looks up from his lunch, right in to her eyes.
»Even if i wanted to, i just can't say i want to do a concert, that would so rude!« Oikawa laughs,
»you are just scared, because you suck right?«
Mei is in shock, no one has eve spoken to her like that.
»what the-« she stops herself,
»What are you even talking about? I don't have to prove myself to you, weirdo.« and yet it stills annoys her, what if she really sucks? and no one will enjoy her concert? She shouldn't join the music club, or should she?
»I know what you are thinking, Mei-chan you should stop with that, We already talked about this.« says Iwaizumi with a voice that sounds madly-ish.

Abiko only looks at them, kind of sad that they are best friends, and that Mei can talk to him so easily. She know she should not be jealous of her, instead she should be thankful for her, without her asking she would not be able to sit next to him, and smell his cologne that is slowly making its way into her nose. She really is happy right now, but still she can't deny that they both would look good together as a couple.

Mei sighs, she looks at Abiko, who is staring at Iwaizumi. She is so pretty, thinking about how they can get closer she says »I'm going to the vending machine, do you guys want anything?« not even looking at Oikawa, she takes out her small bunny shaped wallet.
»do you want me to come with you?« Abiko asked. Mei shakes her head and grins.
»I don't want anything but i'm coming with you.« Oikawa stands up and stretches himself.
»Why?«
»I'm bored, and these two are probably gonna bore me more, so i'm coming with you.« he says with a smirk on his face, Mei rolls her eyes and walks out of the classroom.
»Iwaizumi is right, you are annoying.«

They both walk next to each other making their way downstairs where they were alone.
Mei starts to walk a bit faster, she is not in the front and Oikawa looks at her from behind.
»do you have feelings for Iwaizumi?«
