"Oikawa I told you yesterday that you don't need to pick me up.",She says while examining the tall brown haired boy in front of her, he smiles at her.
"I know, but I still wanted to.", He isn't stupid, He still feels bad, but there is a undeniably feeling to see Mei. Not trying to deny those feelings but rather let them be and see what will happen.
"Give me your bag, Its probably really heavy you know? Because you are so weak." And the bickering starts, "Its not, Loser-kawa!", She huffs and walks forward, "Stop calling me this! Geez you hang out with Iwaizumi too much.", She stops for a second, Oikawa catches up to her and together they walk at a normal speed.
"Speaking of Iwaizumi, do you know if he likes someone?", Mei asks, not for her of course! She just wants to know if he likes Sawako back.
"He didn't really told me but its so obvious that he likes your friend.", Oikawa eyes her from the side and notices the slight disappointment look on her face.
"I'm not trying to stick my nose into your business Mei-chan. I just want to say that it its not possible to stop liking someone over night, You need time to forget feelings you know? Just don't forget the good memories you had with him.", with these words he walks forward leaving Mei in awe.
Mei thinks about Yesterday, There was the concert but something other important was on that day. She stops and her eyes widen.
"CRAP I FORGOT THE VOLLEYBALL GAME.", She looks at Oikawa with blurry eyes, it was the only day she could see Shimizu again and she fucked up.
"Oh that? Yeah it got cancelled.", He shrugs his shoulders
"Wait why?", She asks with a confused face, Oikawa doesn't answer as he doesn't know the answer.
They keep walking together, even though Oikawa apologised the tension between them is still sticky.
After a good long walk they arrive in front of Mei's Home, She thanks Oikawa and waits till he is out of sight.
"Grandpa? Are you home?", Mei's voice fills the Home but no answer, She already knew that he won't be home but she really hoped that he would be.
Her bag falls on the floor and her eyes look around, she feels drained. Mei moves to her bed and closes her eyes.
