For some reason Mei wakes up a lot earlier than usual, it is 5 am currently.
She tries to sleep, but when she can't she groans and slips out of her bed.
Because she did all the work yesterday, she doesn't know what to do and thinks about practicing.
»but grandpa might wake up?« she thinks about what she can do.
»maybe go out for a run?« she looks out of the window only to see that it is raining.
Letting out a big sigh, »i don't even like running.« she grabs fresh underwear and takes a hot bath, while listening to music.

»if teardrops could be bottled
There'd be swimming pools filled by
models.«

holding her breath, she dives with her head in.
the warm water surrounds her and she feels warm.

before she passes out, her head comes out of the water and she breathes.
Mei's thoughts wander to Iwaizumi and how they went swimming as children.

flashback;

the 9 year old Mei and the 10 year old Iwaizumi went on their class trip where they went swimming.

»do you know how to swim Mei?«Iwaizumi asks her, while holding her hands
she shakes her head scared, »no i don't, i'm scared.« she says and starts to cry.
Iwaizumi squeezes Mei's hand »do not worrry Mei, i will save you if something happens!« he says smiling.
Mei wipes her tears away and looks at him
»Promise?«
»Promise!«

Mei laughs, that day Iwaizumi could not save her and she almost drowned.
She reminisces about the old days, while slowly getting ready.
Mei puts on a new set of Pyjama, and sits down infront of her vanity, she takes out her hairdryer and starts to dry her dark long hair.
»curly or straight?« she asks herself, while putting the hairdryer away.

finally making a decision she takes out her curling iron and starts to curl her hair.
Brushing them out so they look more natural and suited for school, she puts on light make up.

It is now 6:20 am, Mei goes on and puts her clean uniform on and heads downstairs.
She goes to the kitchen and makes herself breakfast.
Suddenly a thought comes up, right today she is eating with abiko-san, wait in which class is she?
She can't believe herself, she really forgot to ask in which class she is in.
»guess i will just ask Grandfather.« sigh.

Putting her bento box into her bag, Mei sits down and eats her Breakfast.
She goes on her Social Media and looks through Articles.

»The young Mei Kobayashi just finished another great Piano Concert (....)
We look forward to see more of her!«
She reads the article out loud and is proud of herself, she smiles.
Her Piano and her Fans mean a lot to her, she is proud of what she has accomplished so far.

Of course there are still People that think she is bad, and is only „famous" because of her looks and her Grandfather.
The Kobayashi family is perfect through and through.
Her Mother being a famous pianist herself, Her Father a famous Actor.
Her Ancestor are the ones who established Aobajohsai, now her Grandfather is currently the one who takes care of it.
Her Grandfather used to be a famous violin player.

Mei is constantly under pressure, she can't disappoint her family, she has to be as perfect as them and right now she is on a good track.

Mei is a young and popular pretty girl.
She has a lot of fans, and used to Model when she was younger. Now she wants to focus more on Piano and Singing. Mei wants to show that she won't be put down by her Mother, even though she constantly criticise herself for not being perfect.

The time being 6:40 now, she hurries upstairs to put on a black sweater vest instead of the typical brown one.

She looked in to her Mirror and today she really felt pretty.
Going downstairs again, Mei puts her shoes on, puts on her earphones and takes a Umbrella, today is Grandfather's off day so he wakes up late.

The Rain is Splashing next to her, The Big see through Umbrella is the only thing that saves her from this Rain.
She walks her usual school way, and sees a familiar blonde haired girl,
»wait that is abiko-san!«she whispers to herself, she puts her right earphone out and shouts her name.
Abiko-san, got scared and turned around only to see her Idol waving and smiling to her. Suddenly she gets all happy and runs to Mei.
»Good Morning Kobayashi-San!«They greet each other.
»right, abiko-san i forgot to ask you in which class are you?«Mei laughs a bit ashamed of herself.
»Yes that was i was thinking too! i'm sorry for not mentioning it! I'm in Class 6-1«
(LMAO IM SORRY LETS JUST PRETEND THERE ARE TO CLASS' 6 I FORGOT THIS SHUHUSHSHS)
»Oh so you are in the other Class 6? wow then you are really smart!« Mei praised her, and then it dawned on her. Iwaizumi and Oikawa are in that class too.

»Not like you! I just study really really hard!« She laughs and scratches her neck.
»Oh im sorry, you don't have a umbrella? Come lets walk together.« Mei lifts her umbrella and they both walk together.

They were chatting, and to their surprise they both share a lot of the same interests.
both not interested in volleyball at all and pretty interested in romance animes and movies.

»to be honest, i love romance!! but i can't even talk to a boy without turning red!« Abiko confesses and blushes.
»i love romance too, but sadly i got rejected in middle school tho.« she just told her biggest secret, but Abiko-san felt like a safe person.

Mei puts the umbrella down because they are inside now, she changes her shoes and turns to Abiko-san who is clearly shocked.

»i'm sorry for that person, he must be really stupid.«
»well, its fine now, i'm over him.« she laughs.
»but still? how could he reject you! you are perfect. who was it?«she asks curiously.
»it is.. a Secret!« teasing Abiko, she puts her tongue out, and they both start to laugh.
They start to walk towards their classes.
»but you know i have a crush« Abiko says blushing again.
»really? who? tell me now please.« Mei asks curiously and puts on her best puppy face.
»okay i'm being nice! do you know Iwaizumi-san? from the volleyball team, he is in my class.«She says, blushing really hard and looking away.

Mei stops, what did she just hear?
»wait, do you mean Hajime Iwaizumi?« she asks even though she already knows the answer she hopes that it is someone else.
»yes, him! do you know him?«Abiko turns to her.
Mei stutters,»eh yea, i do know him, he is my best friend.«
»no way! this is embarrassing.« Abiko tries to hide her face by putting her hands infront of her face.

Mei does not know how to react, but she does not want to loose her first friend in this school.
Her Heart is beating fast, it hurts but what can she do.
»its fine, you don't have to be embarrassed.« she smiles at Abiko
»i won't tell him, or do you want me to?« she teases Abiko again.
»No No please don't!!«
»I'm Kidding, I won't don't worry.« Mei giggles, standing in front of her class, she looks at Abiko. She is really pretty, they would look good together.
»Well, See you when its lunch!« With that, Mei enters her classroom.
