»Huh?«,That is the only thing that came out of Mei's mouth.
Does she really come off fake? Is that how her students view her? Her self esteem crushes a little bit.
If it came from someone else, she would just knock it off but it came from Oikawa.
Someone who she taught as a friend of.

»Mei-chan!! Look at my new key-chain«,Sawako screams at her happily, for some reason Mei isn't able to bring herself to smile.
»Are you ok Mei?«,Sawako asks her worried, she nods and explains that she has to go now.

Sawako looks after Mei worried,
someone taps on her shoulder.
»Did something happen between you two?«,Iwaizumi asks after he watched what happened. She shakes her head, »No, I just asked her if she was okay and then she left.«
Sawako's eyes wander to the exit where Mei left.
»Mei-chan looked very sad, I'm worried because she is always smiling.«,Sawako goes on till Iwaizumi stops her.
He smiles at Sawako »I know Mei, she will be fine. Now you should sit down, we are beginning with Practice.«

Usually a comment like this wouldn't affect her, but the only thing that Mei's thoughts recall is how Oikawa's mouth is moving.
The words he said are burned into Mei's brain.
She can't focus like that,she sighs and walks to her school bag.
It is quiet in the Room, the only noise is Mei's humming.
Mei looks at the small bottle of her Medicine, it helps her most of the time but she hates taking it.
Sighing in defeat, she gulps two of the small pills with some water.

The fact that she couldn't even concentrate on her test,frustrates her.
She is done with the Questions but not satisfied with them, she knows she can write more to get a better grade.
She turns the test in and waits for the other students to do as well.

Lunchtime wasn't as fun as it is usually, but thanks to her tutoring Oikawa got kicked out of her brain.

School's over, Mei sits in the office explaining to her Grandfather that she will practice on her own Today.
He doesn't talk much as he is still mad at her, Understandable for Mei.
Today wasn't a great day, but she needs to push herself through. No time for stupid boys in her head.
There is still time for Mei, so she searches for Sawako. Maybe she can lighten her mood a bit.
Mei opens the door to the other Classroom and sees how Oikawa, Iwaizumi and Sawako are holding a conversation.
It's mostly Oikawa talking and gesticulating wild with his hands,probably talking about how great he is.
The sight of Oikawa makes her sad.
She still stands in the Doorframe, some students come up to her.
»Hello, Kobayashi-san! Can you sign this for me? I am a huge fan.«,A girl with short brown hair asks her and holds a pink notebook with hearts on it in front of her.
Mei's eyes glisten at the sight of her Fans, she nods heavily and takes the lilac coloured pencil.
Mei thanks the girl, while signing.
»Kobayashi-san, you look very pretty today! Would you accept this Strawberry Milk from me? I heard that you really like this.«,A taller boy with a shy smile on his face comes up to her. He hands her the Pink carton filled with the sweet Strawberry milk, Mei gladly accepts it with both of her hands.
She bows slightly and smiles.
»Thank you, You are right. I really like Strawberry Milk.«,She laughs happily as she takes a sip from it.
The tall black haired boy seems glad that she enjoys it and quickly goes back to his friends that have been watching him the entire time with a big smirk on their faces.

Now that the whole Classroom is aware that Mei is there, Sawako quickly joins her.
»Are you okay? You seemed really down in the morning.«, She asks while she hooks herself into Mei's arm.
»I'm fine, I will tell you later.«,She smiles softly at her friend.
There is no need to lie to Sawako, right?
Maybe Sawako will tell her, that she does come off a bit fake.
»Tell me about your day!«
And with that they indulge into a lightheartedly funny conversation, Sawako goes on about how Annoying Oikawa is. Always stealing Iwaizumi from her when she tries talking to him. She huffs in annoyance.
Mei laughs, it was right to come to her.
When she looks up she sees Oikawa glancing at her,while talking to Iwaizumi.
She stares back,Its not like he fakes his smiles sometimes too! So what is his problem?

Sawako notices the lack of interests Mei has in the conversation and looks worriedly at her friend, sure she said she was fine but was she really okay?
To be honest,she felt bad when she saw Mei breaking down in front of her.
She always admired Mei and her family for being flawless.
Sawako sighs and pulls Mei's shirt.
»Are you going home? Lets walk together!«,she asks and looks at Iwaizumi who moves closer to them.
»I actually am going to stay a bit longer, since I need to practice for tomorrow.«,she smiles and plays with Sawako's hair.
Sawako is a lot smaller then Mei so often she has to look down.
»Oh right, I forgot about your concert tomorrow!! I wish I could go, but my mom forces me to study.«,Sawako stretches her arms out and lets them fall down.
»Its fine, next time I will give you free tickets.«,she says while patting Sawako's head.
Hearing this Sawako's head went up, and her eyes glisten.
»No you don't have to do this Mei!«, she says while fidgeting with her fingers.
»Its fine, really. You are my friend! I would feel uncomfortable knowing that you paid for it.«,She laughs, Iwaizumi looks very offended »Then why did I had to pay last time!«,He yells.
»Its not my fault,you didn't asked me!«,Mei says teasingly.
She laughs while Iwaizumi mumbles something.
She takes a look at Oikawa, who still looks at her. Mei can't to put her finger on it. What is he thinking about? Why did he say that?
She shakes her head, she should stop thinking  about him.
At last, Oikawa is a stupid narcissist.
He fakes so many smiles,He is so annoying,His fans are annoying! Everything about him annoys Mei.
»I will go now, if you would like to accompany me I would be happy! See you, Sawako-chan.«,She hugs the petite girl and waves to Iwaizumi, not even looking at Oikawa for a second.

The room is quiet, Sunshine is the only source of light.
The window is open and chirps from birds are a part of Background noises.
Mei enjoys the light breeze on her arms, as she starts to play.
Right,no one is going to stop her, Oikawa is wrong.
Her playing gets more vibrant,she smiles.

Tomorrow I will play perfect, I know it. Mei speaks herself some courage.
No one will break her Self-confidence.
She completely blocks out everything,her fingers are the only body part thats moving.

The music is loud, so loud that Oikawa can hear it when he walks to practice.
It annoys him.
Mei annoys him so much, the fact that she is faking her wellbeing.
The fact that she can hide it so well.
How she can play so good, How she gave the Strawberry Milk boy a genuine smile that not a lot of people get.
It annoys him so much, that she is probably smiling right now while playing.

But the thing that annoys him the most?
Himself, he hurt Mei with his words and he knows that.
