I walked around the house for a while. Their house, well technically my house too, looked pretty nice. It was big and it had a pool, so that's nice. I laid down on the couch and wondered what the outside of the house looked like. As I was about to get up and look, the front door opened.
2 decently sized males walked in the house with 3 coffees and a box from Dunkin Donuts. At first they didn't notice me, so they went straight into the kitchen. "Is she still out?" The taller one asked.
"Apparently. I'm sure she'll be up soon, though." The other responded.
"It's been 3 and 1/2 days, she should be awake by now!" Already? Jeez.
"Calm down, Jacob. Remember, you were out for a week before you woke up." Calix told him.
"A week? Wow, that's a long time." I said, startling them a little.
"Sierra! Good morning." Calix smiled at me. "Would you like some breakfast and coffee?"
"Yes please, I'm starving!" I got up and walked over to the kitchen.
"U-um, is that what y-you're wearing?" Jacob asked me.
"Oh, sorry. I probably should go change." I nervously laughed.
"No, i-it's ok, I just thought..." He paused. "Nevermind."
"Help yourself to the donuts. Here's your coffee, too." Calix said as he handed me a caramel frappechino.
"Oh, uh, thanks." I reluctantly took the drink.
"Do you not like coffee?" Jacob questioned.
"No, it's not that. It's just..." I weirdly looked at the mixture. "I like my coffee black, usually."
"Oh, well I can make some really quick if you-"
"No no, it's fine. I'll just drink this." I grabbed a donut and sat down in the same spot I did earlier. "Thanks."
"No problem." Jacob replied.
Him and Calix grabbed some donuts and sat down across from me. "So, Sierra." Calix said.
"Yes?"
"What was it like when you first woke up?" He looked at me while talking another bite from his donut.
"Well," I started. "I scared myself."
Jacob laughed a little, then asked me "How?"
"Well, I looked in the mirror and I thought it was someone else, so I screamed."
Jacob laughed again. "Man, I wish I was here for that."
Calix swatted Jacob's arm. "Sorry, he has a weird sense of humor." They glared at each other for a second, and I didn't really understand why.
"It's ok." I said, finishing up my breakfast. "How about you guys?"
"Sorry?" Calix responded.
"Like, how was it when you woke up?"
"Well, for me," Calix explained. "My head hurt a LOT. I couldn't make any quick movements for a while, otherwise I would throw up or my nose would bleed."
"Oh my god, that sounds horrible."
"Yea, it only lasted a few days, so I guess it could've been worse." He shrugged it off.
"What about you, Jacob?"
"I didn't really have anything happen to me. I just woke up and was really hungry. I suppose that's normal, though, for not eating for a week." He stood up. "I'll get that for you." He grabbed my empty coffee cup and threw it away.
"What am I, chopped liver?" Calix asked him.
"You're 17 years old, you can get your own shit." Jacob told him, which made me giggle. Calix just rolled his eyes and threw away his trash.
"I should probably go get ready now." I announced awkwardly.
"Oh, ok." Jacob responded as I made my way up the stairs.
As I reached the second floor, I remembered Bianca told me that my room was the furthest on the right. I entered my room and was startled at how nice it looked. It even had a balcony:
I looked to the other side of the room and found my closet. There was a little mirror set up next to it:
I went to open my closet to see what clothes I had, if any. I grabbed the handle to the door, but before I could open it, I grew very weary and weak. I felt like I was going to pass out, so I dragged myself to my bed. Sure enough, when I reached the bed I fell onto it and became unconscious.
