I knocked on the door and he answered. He signaled me to walk in and there I went. His house was big. At least, bigger than mine. Pictures of him, his dad, his mom, and Gianluca we hanging above his grey lounge. The only people there were Gianluca, Mattia, and me.
__

He explained how his parents were in Mexico because his mom was visiting family.
___

When we got to his room, it looked the same as before when we hung out. (Before the big fight.) Led lights, huge bed, etc. "Can't Say" by Don Toliver was playing in the background. He pulled out his chrome book and papers from his bag. It actually wasn't as awkward as I expected. He kind of made me feel safe, more than my own mom.

When we got done, he walked me to my car, but he got in. He wanted to talk.
__

"So how have you been?" I asked, genuinely curious. "Could have been better. It was a mistake you know, cutting you off and all. I just wanted to tell you." He stated, his voice deep and choppy. I could tell he regretted it. And I regret losing him. "It's fine. Thank you for helping me. I really needed it. I think I'm going to pass the exam." I replied, happy. "So... best friends again?" He asked. I nodded.
___

"Okay, come over again tomorrow, just so we can rap this lesson up. "Okay. Bye." I said with a smile. I got my best friend back. He doesn't know that Mr Aiden told me that he volunteered to be my tutor.

That night I had been exhausted and relieved.
I took my shoes off and hopped on my bed. I instantly fell asleep. Dreaming about random scenarios my brain made up.
