"Hey ma!" I call through the house as soon as I get there. We've been home for a few weeks now since our weekend away. Being back on territory has felt better than before, a few pack have come up to both Troy and I apologizing for how it seemed they were looking and feeling towards us was interpreted.

"In the kitchen honey" She calls back. I knew who was home and I am glad he is back. I turn to my brother quickly giving him a hug

"She'll come back bro" I tell him

"I feel so rejected though" I nod my head as I hold him. He's always been there to protect me, never too far for me to lean on when I needed someone to talk to

"Just don't give your heart away bro"

"It's always been hers" I smile. I want to tell him about her secret but I know it's not mine to tell and if she wanted him to know, she would've told him already. Actually she's stubborn but it's not my business to interfere. I know Troy feels guilty all the time when he looks at Aiden because Troy looked out for Jasmine where Aiden couldn't. I'm happy he was there for Jasmine when both Aiden and I couldn't be.

Her and Addison are the sisters I always wanted and now I have them by pack law. I smile looking to my mum who knows exactly how I'm feeling. She grew up with all brothers, living in a household dominated by men, when she was going through things she spoke to her mum but there were things she couldn't go to her mum for that only a sister could be there for. I call Jasmine every chance I get and Addison is always there whenever I need her. They are the absolute best to me and I love them for it every day

Smiling at mum, she returns the gesture "What brings you over?"

"Can I not come and visit my mother and catch up with my brother?" She laughs at me "Troy is meeting me here, he says he has something to tell all of us"

"And he hasn't said anything to you about it?" Aiden asks making me shake my head "It must be that important for all of us to know together before you do"

"I know, that's what worries me" I sigh

Aiden and I talk while mum cooks dinner. I am truly worried about him, he traveled through his connections to try and get to Jasmine but as soon as he would get there, they were gone. I feel bad for my brother, to know his mate has been under his nose this entire time is one thing we can both relate on

"I know I've got my happily ever after, it may not be now but you'll get it with her bro, she's always loved you" he nods his head smiling

"I better take Aunt Lilys advice then huh?" I smile nodding my head in agreement

We both turn out heads when we hear cars pull into the driveway. The excitement of my wolf and the scent of my mate drifting into the house was all I needed to make me smile

"Hey bro" Aiden says giving Troy a hug before Troy turns to me smiling and kissing me on the head before wrapping his arms around my shoulders then peppering kisses on my cheek

I giggle and swat him away so he can say hello to mum

"Ma, what are you making?" He asks as he wraps his arms around her shoulders to get a look

"Just Bolognese honey, where's that mate of mine?" She says before turning to face the doorway

"Right here my love" Troy steps away coming to sit in the chair beside me. He places his hand on my leg to settle my nerves

"Everything is fine love" He whispers

"Are you sure? Because you haven't told me anything and I'm scared of what it's going to be" I whisper back. He pulls my chair closer and kisses me on the lips, making some of the worry leave me
