Troy and Aiden were tugging at the mindlink. I knew Aiden can feel my distress as well as my mate

I dropped the coffees off to my parents and asked mum to take them to the boys. I gave her a run down of what had happened and she told me to go for a drive.

"Where are you going girl?" Angel says. She called me on my mobile. I needed my best friend

"I don't know, what she said rattled me" I hear her sigh

"I was there last night at the pack house, they were talking" I tense up at her words "It was after all the work he put into healing the warriors, he looked tired and didn't want to move so I watched her approach him, I thought she was going to get a drink for him like everyone else was doing but she sat there and talked, they looked like they've known each other for a while"

"She would've been his baby mama, so they have history" I tell her "I don't know how to deal with that, she clearly wants him back and I know he's my mate but I can't help but feel insecure"

"I will always be truthful with you no matter what because I expect you to tell me when my mate fucks up, I don't know if he slept in her room with her but he walked in the same direction as she honey"

I swerved over to the side of the road and parked. I lay my head on the steering wheel and just cried

"Oh babe" The pain in her voice hearing me cry brings more tears on "Your mum is on the way"

I end the call when I hear a tapping on the car window. I look up seeing my mum, not far behind her is Troy. I shake my head his way and he looks down at the ground

"He just needs to see you are ok and he will leave you alone" She whispers to me

"He doesn't want to explain what happened?" I cry out loud enough for him to hear. I watch him tense up and continue to stare at the ground

"Mum" I say "Is what Angel said true?" She nods her head "Is what-" I stop for a moment

"Partly true my love" I sit back and look up at the roof of the car "He said he was burning up after healing all the warriors so he slept naked after being so exhausted he crashed out in the room next to Aidens but she was nowhere near him like what she was implying my love"

The good thing about my mums powers, is if she can feel her children in distress, she can tap into the memories we have of that moment so we never have to speak through words if we find it too hard

"I don't want to seem like a petty mate but I need her gone, she was going to have his baby how am I suppose to cope with knowing that" I tell her "How am I suppose to cope with our baby?" She frowns looking at me when my eyes widen "Oh shit, I was going to tell him last night"

"Oh baby congratulations, you both just need to talk everything out" She smiles kissing me on the cheek "How far along are you?"

"Just a few weeks" That's when I feel an intense pain in my abdomen "Mum"

"TROY!" She yells. I can feel Troy rushing over and scenting the blood coming out of me

"Fuck" He looks at me "Its ok baby" He whispers wiping my tears as I reach up to wipe his "Next time ok?" I nod my head as he reaches in to pull me from the seat. Mum grabs a towel from the back-seat and lays it on the drivers seat before getting in, driving us to the hospital

"I'm sorry" I whisper over and over

His reply each time is "It's ok, next time honey"
