After Putting Others First:

Patton tentatively walked to Logan's room, worried since he hadn't seen much of him at all since Deceit had impersonated him and Logan felt unwanted when he returned, knocking lightly on the door. "Lo?"

"Go away." Logan mumbled, sitting at his desk trying to read even though his mind kept wandering.

Patton frowned a bit in concern, resting a hand on the door. "I just wanna talk, please...I'm sorry you felt unwanted. I really care about you, and I want to know that you're okay."

Logan closed his book, rubbing his face with his hands. "I am a joke, no one takes me seriously...I just want to belong with the others."

Patton bit his lip, cracking the door open slightly to poke his head in. "Logan...you're so smart, when you speak I try to listen. Sure I don't understand a lot of the times, but...you're no joke to me."

Logan was quiet for a moment before standing and opening the door fully, hugging Patton tight as he buried his face in the crook of his neck. "Thank you Patton..."

"Of course baby." Patton cooed softly, a little caught off guard since Logan didn't really like hugs or any kind of physical contact. "I'll make us some tea, wanna find something we can watch?"

Logan tightened his grip on Patton, shaking lightly. "I don't want to let go...l-logically I know I have to, but..."

"It's okay honey, I'll be right back I promise." Patton kissed his head before gently pulling away, going to the kitchen.

Patton hummed to himself as he grabbed a couple of mugs and put the kettle on the stove, Logan's mug a deep blue with a black interior while Patton's was designed to look like a cat with the tail as the handle.

Once the water was boiling, he filled the two mugs before walking back to Logan's room to find Logan shaking and crying while hugging a pillow tight with his body curled around it.

"Lo, I'm so sorry about everything." Patton set the mugs aside and curled up by Logan, resting his chin on Logan's shoulder.

Logan hiccuped and dug his nails into the pillow, tears spilling down his face as he snuggled as close as possible to Patton.

Patton hummed softly, pressing light kisses to his neck as he played with his hair. "Everything's gonna be okay..."

Logan nodded slightly and gradually calmed down, setting the pillow aside and rolling over so he could look at Patton and rest his head on Patton's chest. "I care about you exponentially."

Patton giggled softly as he spoke with a playful smile. "My love for you is definitely not-"

"Don't say it-" Logan started, raising an eyebrow.

"infinitesimal."  Patton finished with a laugh, Logan rolling his eyes with a groan as he smiled faintly. "That was one time Patton..."

"I'm going to hold that over you forever. Now, what're we watching?" Patton got up and brought the mugs of tea over, kissing Logan's head.

"I found a rather fascinating documentary about space." Logan replied as Patton sat by him, draping blankets over themselves as he blew on his tea.

"Guess this documentary is gonna be outta this world then." Patton murmured, Logan shaking his head with a soft chuckle. "I dislike your humor."

"You laughed." Patton countered smugly as Logan started the documentary, taking a sip of his tea with a content hum while Logan rested his head on Patton's shoulder and watched the documentary quietly.
