Introductory

Daddy finger, daddy finger, where are you?

Here I am.. Here I am just looking at the mommy. I listened as she continue that nursery song. She may sound offbeat, voice such of a boy, but her smile stays as sweet as her personality.

Oh, but we aren't adults yet here, just to make it clear. We're just on sophomore year in high school, for your information.

Yeah, yeah, too young to make serious about things.  Just like in here, we're playing "bahay-bahayan" and me as the father.  The eldest daughter is the muse in the class, brother is the gangster member and the in-between denials and unconfirmed gender preference as the baby.

But of course, let me do the best introduction for my wife---the ever blooming girl in her pigtails wearing no baby powder but still as fresh as downy, is Maymay (use Tagalog pronunciation-meaning short "a" sound).

We're in the classroom, of course, where else we could be!

No teacher pestering my dreamland, I mean, around. We're free as a mosquito larvae swaying lefty and righty, uhuh...

But seriously now, she's doing a good job in here, taking care of our "haughty children", doing "household chores" in the classroom, and making me fall in love...Oh my, did I just say that? Horrible me, she would never want to hear that! I'll be as good as dead!

I remembered how she mentioned before: High school is a chapter for a teenager to enjoy, to make friends with everybody...just that---with her sweetest smile striking me.

And that's what she's doing---making friends to all of us who showed much more interest of going into a deeper relationship than playing with her witted antics. And that's how tight the competition is. She's just new in the class, yet I heard two or more of those greedy guys of classmates wanted to court her.  Fortunately, she stopped them by her disbelieving look.

Instead she just played along.  But then again when she feel a little uncomfy with them, she'll pry the sourest face and ignore them the whole lifetime.

Yeah, yeah, now I know how to play her game. Actually, I kind of has the mastery degree now...winks:P
