my angel

She used to walk with a skip in her feet,
She used to breathe so sweetly while dreaming about rainbows.
Oh those rosy lips and parted sighs,
She was so naive and brave at heart.

She sat everyday in dismay,
Beside me praying to hear my voice again.
Oh my angel she called every God,
To close the doors to heaven.

Now those skips have been replaced by tears,
And that sweet breath now seems so nauseous.
Everyone's with her and I am glad that they are,
But no one's in her shoes,
And no one can make her laugh.
She is still naive and brave at her heart.

She was my last heartbeat,
My sweet angel.
Oh!! I can't see my angel like this.
