Book 2, chapter 6

Y/N: *thinks* no, i will not abandon Yuki! But how can i get a hold of them.. yuki is probably too heavy for me to carry and quickly run away..

Y/N: *thinks* or i can slow these people down.. they already saw my powers so i can put them to use.

You took a small step backwards with one foot and let your power flow through there.

It created a lot of long plants and you quickly coordinated them to get a hold of the four people.

All four of them didn't seem that bothered and just accepted it that they were stuck in plants.

You quickly rushed towards the figure holding Yuki and took them from the figure.

Surprisingly the figure just let go of Yuki and you quickly rushed out of the alley with yuki in your arms.

Y/N: god, your heavy you know that.

You just kept running and running through the streets.

While running you noticed.. the fair was completely gone. Not a trace left.

You thought that it was strange but you kept focusing on getting home for now.

Luckily after a few minutes of running you made it to a bus stop.

And even luckier the bus was almost there. You could see it come from far away.

You stood there still with the unconscious Yuki in your arms.

The bus finally stopped at the bus stop and you quickly got on.

The bus driver asked if Yuki was your dog and you showed Yuki's collar with your name on it as proof.

You laid Yuki down on two bus chairs and you sat in the one behind them.

When the bus drove off you leaned your head against the window.

Y/N: *thinks* we made it..

Y/N: *thinks* why were there vampires there.. i thought they were not so active anymore..

You then noticed that Yuki moved and sat up.

Y/N: you are awake, good..

Yuki looked confused around them.

Yuki: what happened?

Y/N: you don't remember? What is the last thing you remember?

Yuki: uhh let me think.. you were out of the house for a while so i decided to look for you.. and then.. well some strangers walked up to me but before i could react everything went black

Y/N: *thinks* hypnosis? Nah..

Yuki: wait what happened?! Were you in trouble?!

Y/N: well yeah, you were acting strange and didn't speak tho i doubt it was you.. and we also got cornered in an alley not so long ago..

Yuki: by who? Do we know them?

Y/N: i don't know they felt familiar but i didn't see their faces..

All of a sudden you heard the bus driver speak up.

Driver: madam are you alright? You are literally speaking to a dog.

Y/N: yes sir i am perfectly fine..

The driver stayed quiet, probably focusing on the road again.

You looked out of the window.

Y/N: *thinks* almost back home.. just a few streets.

All of a sudden the bus stopped and you and Yuki fell of your seats in the sudden stop.

You quickly got up and looked over at the drivers seat.

Y/N: sir- oh my god!

His head was smashed through the front window and glass stikking in his face.

Y/N: *thinks* busses have airbags don't they? How come it didn't work?!

You looked closer at the bus driver and noticed a huge shard piercing right through his throat.

Y/N: *thinks* we can't save him...sadly

Yuki also made their way over to the front.

Yuki: oeh thats gotta hurt-

Y/N: yuki i swear this is not the time for jokes.

Yuki: yea yea. Anyway we gotta walk now. And run maybe too.

Y/N: how come?

Yuki: you might.. wanna look out of the front window.

You did as they said and looked out the window and noticed three figures standing in the middle of the road.

All with black hoodies just like those other ones earlier.

Y/N: yeah your right lets run.

Y/N: *thinks* how tho.. exiting the bus would be dangerous.. but staying inside would be even more dangerous.

Yuki wasn't such a thinker and grabbed you by your sleeve and dragged you out of the bus.

Yuki: no time to think just run!

She let go of your sleeve and ran into the opposite direction from the three people.

You followed Yuki as fast as you could.

You didn't hear any footsteps behind you so they were probably not running after you two.

Yuki took a sharp turn around a corner and you followed.

But after you got around the corner Yuki was nowhere to be seen.

Y/N: *thinks* crap..

You turned around to see if anyone followed you.

Y/N: no one.. thank god.

You turned back only to face a pair of red glowing eyes.

"Missed me?"
