SPLINTER POV:
Searching dumpsters, rooftops and alleyways for anything I could use to help my sons and I survive like food or warmth. Sticking to the shadows and covers of Alleyways I soon saw two young couple run in the alleyway with a box covered with two different colour blankets in the young ladies hand.
"Okay drop the box here and let's go before we get caught" the male said
Throwing the box down roughly the female laughs "I hope they rot, I never wanted them anyway" with that the couple leaves hand in hand.
I was so curious as to what was in the box, removing the white and flower blankets it revealed Not One but Two beautiful baby girls, who look alike.
My heart shattered at the sight, why? Was the world so cruel.. I couldn't just leave them here so I decided to take the sleeping infants back to my home where I will raise them as my own. Wrapping the girls in a blanket each I take them down to through the sewers, to the lair.
