Chapter 6 Not Ms Holly

Jota quietly makes two box lunches in the kitchen, rice and left overs from last night's curry. He is already in his uniform, black ankle cropped pants, white button up shirt with the school's tie and a jumper with the school logo on it. He wraps the bentos up with cloth and places one in Jotaro's bag and his.
"What's for lunch?" Jotaro asks as he walks in to the kitchen.
"Lasts night curry and rice. There's also the cookies I made in food class last week." Jotaro hums and grabs a bowl of cereal for the both of them.

It was quiet.

A bit too quiet but the two ignore the feeling and finish eating. They head to the front door and put on their black loafers on and look back for a moment.
"Where's mum?" Jota asks, usually the two would get a kiss on the cheek and sent off. "Something isn't right." The two took their shoes off and quickly run back inside to find Holly. They walked about looking in places Holly would be, she isn't outside hanging the washing, she isn't in the tea room and definitely not in their father's study. "Mum might be in the smaller kitchen that we use for storing large amount of frozen product." Jota talks to himself as he heads into that direction.

Getting to the door they meet Joseph half way and all three look inside to see Avdol checking Holly's back. Large prickly vines produce out of her back tangling together like a rose bush. Jota could only stand there wide eyed as he looks at his mother's unconscious form. Jotaro grits his teeth audibly and in a flash of light Joseph pins Jotaro to the door frame. Joseph shouts out in pain making Avdol flinch.
"Grandad let Jotaro go." Jota states in a scarily calm voice and Joseph does so.
"It's Dio, I just assumed Holly didn't get a stand and thought it skipped a generation. I was being stupid. We have to defeat Dio and save Holly!" Joseph shouts.

The Kujo twins carried their mother to her room and placed her on a futon. The two stared at Holly for a while as Joseph and Avdol grab the medical things to calm her fever.
"Jotaro... How do we tell dad about this?" Jota pushes his glasses up and stares at his mum's sweating face. Jotaro grumbles a reply. "We don't tell him, we can't tell him." Jota frowns but nods in agreement. If they tell their dad he would cancel his tour and come bouncing back from the UK. Jota for the first time in ages is unsure on what to do.

"I'm going to go check on Kakyoin." Can't bare to see his loving and kind mother in this form Jota gets up and leaves the room. He walks to the guest bedroom where Kakyoin is staying. Going to open the door it slides open before Jota could place his hand on the handle. Kakyoin widens his eyes in surprise but quickly composes himself.
"Ah Kujo-san." He spoke softly as he soon notices how tense Jota is.
"I came to check on you, don't call me kujo please. It be very confusing for me and my brother." Jota replies with a smile.
"Jota-san then... Is everything alright? I heard a loud noise and Mr Joestar shouting." Kakyoin kindly asks not expecting an answer after all he is intruding.
"..." Jota goes quiet and frowns. "My mum has gotten a fever due to her stand fighting against her." Kakyoin looks worried as Jota is frowning deeply. His research about Jota says he never has a frown or a scowl, he usually has a straight face or a charming smile. Unsure on what to do Kakyoin frowns as well. "Oh I didn't know stands could do that, I have to help no matter what. Your mother is so kind and caring it be a sin to not help her recover." Kakyoin says unknowingly making Jota siffen even more.

"I knew you wouldn't be able to hold it in." Jotaro magically appears startling the pair. "Hold it in?" Kakyoin looks back at Jota to see him clenching his fist. "I'm going to borrow a tree for a moment." Kakyoin watches as Jota leaves the wooden platform and walks into the cherry blossom garden. He notices large marks on the tree, unsure what they are he raises an eyebrow at it. That was until Jota rams his fist into the bark making the whole tree shake. "What the..."
"Jota patch your hand up and meet us back in mum's room." Jota nods and goes to where the first aid box is. Jotaro and Kakyoin walk to Holly's room in an awkward atmosphere.

Holly woke up for a moment and commented about how nice everyone is when shes ill but soon after she goes back to being unconscious. the Speedwagon Foundation waltz in quickly and sets up equipment to keep Holly's vitals normal.
The five crusaders stand outside in front of a black car and with determined minds they step outside the Japanese mansion.

"It's going to be a crammed Journey for you Kakyoin." Jota says as he gets into the back of the car. Kakyoin sighs and sits in the middle already brushing up against Jota. "I know. But this is for miss Holly." He said and immediately chokes as Avdol squeezes into the back.
"I'm 6'3 while Jotaro is 6'5. We would both be in the front but we can't drive." Jota explains pushing his glasses up.
"You being in the middle is actually easier than having one of us 6 foot giants." Jota sounded like a certain dark king making Kakyoin get flashbacks of the certain anime character, everyone shivers at the smiling Jota while Jotaro just grumbles As he's used to Jota's character.
"I hope we don't end up with another traveler... Otherwise we going to have someone in the trunk." Jota explains once again eyeing Kakyoin, he quickly flinches and gets closer to Avdol.
