August 24th.
You sighed,sitting back down in the chair,"you're my therapist you're supposed to help me."
He stood up,walking to the window and looking out onto the city,"have you tried making a list?"
"A list of what?"
"Things to achieve before the end of the year."
"I don't need to achieve anything. I've achieved enough in my life. I skipped second,fourth and sixth grade,joined Harvard at age 14. What else do I need to achieve?"
"I'll help you." He took out a piece of paper and a pen and began writing,"things to achieve.. Get a pet."
"I don't need pets."
"Go on a date."
"People annoy me. They see that I'm intelligent and always say 'say something smart'."
"Spend news years eve with someone."
"I can spend it with my bookshelf."
"Y/N,this is for your own good." He gave you the list.
You put it in your pocket,"Correction: Its so that you can keep making money."
You got up,grabbing your bag and exiting the room. You got a taxi back to your apartment.
You lied on your bed.
"Why is my life so sucky?"
A loud noise was coming from your neighbours.
You groaned,getting up and going to their door. You knocked on it angrily.
A guy with crimson hair opened it. His eyes were also crimson.
"Hey neighbour." He smiled.
"I don't know if you're really self-centered or just plain stupid,but can you keep it down? I am trying to sleep."
"Sorry,my roommate is watching TV. I'll tell him to be more quiet."
"Thank you."
You went back to your own apartment and sat on your bed,listening to classical music.
It didn't take long for you to fall asleep.
As the days went by,you found the red head neighbour always making an effort to speak to you.
You acted cold towards him.
December 30th.
You walked down one of the aisles in the store. As you looked to the left,you sighed.
Oh god..
"Hey! Neighbour! What are you doing here?"
It was the red head again.
"Grocery shopping. What does it look like?"
"Right sorry. That's pretty obvious."
You rolled your eyes.
"So how are you?"
"Fine." You put a few things in your basket.
"I'm sorry about my roommate. He is..a bit selfish."
"I can tell."
He looked down,"do you have any roommates?"
"No. I live alone. Roommates just make a mess and my apartment is nice and clean."
"Do you have a girlfriend?"
"No. Females are not only a waste of time,but also not my type."
"So you like guys?"
"Males. Yes."
"Ah.. I like males too."
"Is that so?"
"Yeah.. By the way,I'm sure you don't want me calling you 'neighbour' all the time,so um..whats your name?"
"Y/N L/N."
"I'm eijirou kirishima."
"That's a pretty name."
"Thank you."
You walked to the vegetables. He followed you.
"Would you like to go on a date?" He asked.
"Why do you want to go on a date?"
"Because you fascinate me. I want to get to know you better."
"Really?"
"Yes." He smiled widely.
You felt yourself smile,"alright. What time?"
"12:30. We can meet at that fancy restaurant down the street."
"I'll see you there." You smiled at him,walking to the cash register.
You couldn't deny it,you had a bit of a soft spot for him.

He smiled. He actually smiled. My heart started beating faster and my face went red.

You looked in the mirror.

You exited your apartment,making your way to the restaurant.
As you approached it, you saw the red head standing outside.
