There are these moments when all he could ever think about was her, like everything was about her. How the clouds move, how the air whistles and even how everyone walks. For someone who once declared to never feel anything he just found himself attracted to her.
Jiyong lazily slumped himself on his bed, staring at the white ceiling above. He let out a sigh before curving his lips into a small pout as he started hitting his bed with his arms, with fists clenched on a tight ball like a child deprived of a new toy. He was throwing his tantrums. ‘Arghh!!’ he gritted as he shifted his body, stomach laying flat on the bed, face buried on his pillow.
He heaved a sigh as he stared at his wooden headboard which he filled with his own drawings. He stared at the guy he was declared himself drawn into his headboard. ‘Well I’m still Peter Pan!’ he exclaimed pushing himself to sit with his fists leaning on both side of his waist.
He rolled his eyes slamming his body back on the bed, staring back on his room’s white ceiling. It was Friday and everyone was rejoicing about it except him. He pouted his lips remembering that he wasn’t able to see her that day. He waited outside the faculty room, asked for her schedule from her fellow professors while lying that he just needed to ask or submit something to her.
But she was being unfair as she didn’t even go to school that day. She was absent.
‘Aughh!!’ Jiyong groaned as he sat down on his bed ruffling his hair, annoyed. All he wanted was to see her. All he wanted was a small glimpse of her. He was not asking for forever he was only asking for couple of seconds to look at her, to see her. Was he asking too much?
He grimaced as he lie himself back on his bed pulling one pillow and putting it in between his legs hugging it to himself. Saturday, Sunday just thinking of it he thought he was about to lose all his hair. He will not see her on Saturday and Sunday and thinking that he will be dealing with all the Saturdays and Sundays of his life not seeing her makes him want to run amok downtown and hit everybody with a baseball bat.
‘I’m going crazy,’ he muttered to himself pushing the pillow away lying flat on his bed, arms spread wide as he stared blankly at his ceiling. Then thoughts came crashing in his head like they were slowly twisting his brain. His heart hammered against his chest as it drowns from anxiousness as soon as realization hits him. He stood up and raked his hair as he got of his bed holding his chin as he walked back and forth in his room.
Come to think of it, he only doesn’t need to deal with Saturdays and Sundays. He will also have to deal with the Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays without her. Then there were also the days were she will be absent like today, then summer break, winter break and all the breaks that come in between. He will not be a student forever, heck she wouldn’t be his teacher forever. What if she resigned and moved?
He raked his hair as every possibility brought by the single thought of missing her started popping in his brain as he started freaking out. ‘Calm down Jiyong,’ he said breathing heavily as he tried his very best to calm himself. He guessed this was the reason why he hated thinking before. He pouted his lips as he sat on his bed biting his nails.
But what can he do in order to be with her as much as he could? Is there any way to always be with her?
He could befriend her but that would be idiotic since she was his professor and he doesn’t want her being accused of having favouritism if ever he did succeed befriending her.
‘Ahhh!’ he exclaimed slamming his body on the bed and went back to staring at his room’s white ceiling. ‘I should paint something on you,’ he muttered to his innocent ceiling as he tried distracting himself from thinking of her. He heaved a sigh as he closed his eyes trying to relax. And soon his breathing went even as his thoughts became clearer.
