B.B.B. (Best Button Buddy) (Part 3)

Poppy told the leaders her plan, "We're going to remind Trollex and TBDB how important their friendship is and we're going to do that two ways: By singing our songs about friendship and with a speech."

The other leaders liked the idea and nodded in agreement. They even knew what songs to sing for each of their turns.

Up first was the Funk Trolls, who got their equipment ready and prepared to sing.

Before they started, King Quincy made an announcement, "Trolls, today we are all here to celebrate the joining of two best friends. Two friends who have always been there for each other through thick and thin, no matter how tough things got. My tribe will sing a song expressing how friends are always there for each other."

*Plays 'Lean on Me'*

This got Trollex and TBDB's attention.

The Country Trolls were next.

Delta Dawn started with, "My tribe will be singing a song as a way of thanking our friends for their companionship without overcomplicating things."

*Plays 'What a Difference You've Made in My Life'*

Trollex and TBDB started thinking about each other.

Trollzart started the Classical Trolls with information about their song, "The song we will play was written by a Troll known as Rachtrollinoff, whom, after an embarrassing premiere of his First Symphony, fell into a great sadness, stopped composing, and lost faith in his creative craft. However,  he reached out to a friend, Nikolai Troll, who was a lover of music and musician himself.  He helped him get through this very tough state and encouraged him to write the piece we will play for you now."

*Plays 'Rachminoff: Piano Concerto No. 2'*

Trollex and TBDB saw and looked at each other for a while, with each giving the other a smile.

Barb's Trolls were next and she knew a good song, "Sometimes, life can throw some pretty hard obstacles at you and I should know, because I used to be one of those obstacles. But, you can't really dodge these obstacles alone. You must remember that your friend can help you no matter what the case is."

*Plays 'With a Little Help from My Friends.'*

Trollex and TBDB continued to smile at each other as they got closer.

And finally, the Pop Trolls and Poppy started them off with the most important speech about friendship ever, "Before we start our song, I would like to take a moment to celebrate the friendship we are all here to celebrate; King Trollex and Techno Beat Drop Button. These two are one of the best examples of an unbreakable bond I've ever seen. They remind us that friendship is strong. Although, there are times when friends will have differing opinions, and sometimes, that can lead to something of a fight. But, that's OK. Everyone fights ever now and again, even best friends. But, we have to make up fast, because no fight is more important than the fight for friendship."

Everyone cheered as the Pop Trolls started playing 'Gift of a Friend.'

Once the song had finished, Poppy made another announcement. "Let's give it up for the friendship of honor; Trollex and TBDB!"

Everyone cheered as Trollex and TBDB made their way to the front of the crowd and joined Poppy and the other leaders, showing that they had clearly made amends.

Trollex said, "Thank you, everyone for this great celebration."

TBDB continued, "And thank you, Your Majesties, for reminding us both that while we may have our differing opinions, we can't let that get in the way of our bond."

Everyone cheered again, but Trollex had a confused look on his face and said, "There's something I still don't understand; Why did we almost let a disagreement about a song ruin our friendship? It was only a song. It might've been playing at that time, but it's in the past. And besides, we fixed the damage."

Poppy believed she knew the answer, "I don't think it's the just the destruction of your home that bothered him. Right, TBDB?"

TBDB made a sad look and nodded, "Yes. It wasn't just about what happened to our home. After our String was taken, I was worried that that song would be the last Techno song we would ever play again. But, that's not what bothers me the most."

Trollex also made a sad, but confused look on his face, "What was that?"

TBDB answerd, "It was when Barb turned all the leaders into Rock zombies, including you! All I could do was just sit there and watch as my best friend turned into something horrible! I felt like I had lost my best friend!"

Every Troll in the reef was moved to tears, while Barb was blushing with embarrassment.

Trollex finally understood that the song reminded him of how TBDB had nearly lost his best friend forever and that he didn't want to be reminded of that again.

Trollex consoled him, "But, buddy, Poppy saved all of us from being that way forever and we later found out that we no longer need the Strings to make music. It's all in the past and I'm still me. If we're going to enjoy now and what will happen in the future, we have to let go of the past."

TBDB thought about it and realized Trollex was right and then, got into his position on the DJ booth, "You're right. I guess we do have a different reason to play that song now. So...shall we?"

Trollex answered, "We shall indeed!"

*Plays 'One More Time'*

After the song ended, TBDB swam into Trollex's arms and Trollex hugged him really tight.

Trollex said, "I'm sorry."

TBDB replied, "I'm sorry, too."

Poppy went up to them and said, "I'm so glad you guys are together again! Otherwise, we would've thrown this party for nothing."

The Trolls then partied for the rest of the night.
