Homes Sweet Homes (Part 1)

"One of the most special Trolls in Pop Village...was Cooper. He wasn't really like the other Trolls, but everyone loved him and treated him like he was no different from us. But, when we discovered there were other kinds of Trolls, it made Cooper realize there may be other Trolls just like him. After coming to that realization, he went on a quest to find them. After a truly long search, he finally found them. Well, technically, they found him. Cooper turned out to be the long-lost prince of Funk who got separated from them as an egg. Now, it was like he had two families; The Trolls of Pop Village and his biological family of Vibe City."

Poppy was finishing the scrapbook on Cooper's story in her pod to add to the library, "Another great story for ourselves and the future generations!"

Cooper then came into her pod, "Poppy, I'm staying over again with the family for the next couple of weeks, and I need your help with some packing."

Poppy answered, "Sure, Cooper, I'd love to help."

They went to Cooper's mushroom and went over what he should bring.

Cooper asked Poppy, "Which hat should I bring? The emerald green or the grassy green?" He held up two hats that looked the same shade of green.

Poppy answered, "Ooh, tough one. How about you take both? You know, for the night and the next day?"

Cooper gasped, "It works on so many levels!"

Poppy then remembered, "I just realized; I told Biggie I'd look over some Dinkles photos with him for his new album. I hope you have a nice time, Cooper. Tell them I said, 'Hi!'"

Cooper replied, "Oh, I will! And I'll tell you they said 'Hi,' too."

When Poppy left, Branch came inside to see what the commotion was about, "Hey, Coop, what's going on?"

Cooper answered, "Poppy was helping me pack for the stay with my Funky family for the next couple of weeks!"

Branch looked confused, "Again? Cooper, you've been staying over with them for the past three months and then back here. Don't you think you ought to pick a place to stay for good?"

Cooper didn't understand, "What you talking about?"

Branch answered "You know, at some point, you're going to have to pick a permanent home."

Cooper then realize what he was talking about, "Oh, you're right. But...which one?"

Branch just said, "How should I know? Well, hope you make the right decision."

Branch then left Cooper thinking about how to choose who to stay with permanently; The Pop Trolls or his Funk Family?

Cooper knew just who to ask for help. So, he started writing some invites.

Keith, Priscilla, and CJ Suki came into Cooper's mushroom after receiving his invites.

CJ spoke first, "What's up, Cooper? What's the emergency?"

Cooper answered her, "I need you to help me decide who to stay with permanently. Pop Village or Vibe City?"

Priscilla knew how to help, "That's easy; We'll simply just explore each place and look at all of the reasons why each would be a great place to stay and figure out which one has better reasons."

Keith said, "Cooper, would it be OK if we joined you for your stay in Vibe City with your family?"

Cooper said, "Sure! As long as your families and mine say it's OK!"

Cooper and the kids had arrived in Vibe City after getting the OK's from their families.

The Funk family greeted them as soon as they entered the ship by bubble.

King Quincy said, "Son, nice of you to join us again!"

Queen Essence added, "And how wonderful to see you brought some guests. I gotta tell you; you didn't tell me they'd be so precious!"

All of the kids blushed.

Prince D said, "I've already got the guest room set up for tonight. So, what you wanna do first?"

Priscilla answered, "Actually, we were interested in exploring Vibe City and finding out what makes it a great place to live."

King Quincy said, "Sure! Feel free to explore any part of the city you like. Just remember to be back here in time for dinner."

Cooper and the kids said, "We will!"

As they were exploring Vibe City, they saw a lot of things that Pop Village didn't have. They were given cool sunglasses, hats, and had their clothes decorated in tinsel.

CJ Suki liked it especially, "Whoa, this music makes me feel so...well, funky! I've never heard anything like it! I think I like it as much as Pop music!"

Keith just said, "I suppose it's good. But, they don't really have as much fun stuff as Pop Village. I mean, where are the flyer bugs? Where are the jumping shrooms? And where are all of the animals from back home?"

Priscilla answered, "I don't think they have room for all of that in this ship."

CJ Suki said with excitement, "Who cares? Don't tell my Aunt DJ I said this, but I think I would rather live here than Pop Village!"

They all gasped.

After exploring every part of Vibe City, Cooper and the kids went back to the Funk family for dinner.

Priscilla asked them, "What exactly is an iconic dish in Funk culture?"

Queen Essence came in with a tray to answer the question, "I'm glad you asked. Because tonight, we're having what I like to call...'Southern Nights Fried Chicken!'"

CJ took a big bite and clearly enjoyed it, "Man, the chicken back home's got nothing on this!"

Queen Essence chuckled and said, "Well, there's plenty for everyone."

After dinner, Prince D showed the kids to their room as Cooper would be staying with him in his room tonight.

Once they went inside, the kids, CJ especially, were surprised to see it had an insane view of the whole city.

CJ pressed her head against the window and excitedly said, "Wow! So bright and beautiful! It looks like a never ending party!"

Keith just said, "Yeah, well, all of those bright lights are gonna make it hard to fall asleep."

Before they went to bed, Priscilla stated, "I think there are a lot of good reasons for Cooper to choose Vibe City, but we also need to take a look at Pop Village before we come to a decision."

They all agreed, even though CJ already made her decision.

They said their goodnights and went to sleep.
