Ben's POV

After the engagement party and that really awkward talk with Hades, Mal and I decided to head back over to the castle. Although it was truly beautiful to see two parts of my, excuse me, our kingdom come together, it was an extremely tiring day for both of us. As we walk back to the castle, I reach down and intertwine my fingers with hers.

"What did you think of today?" I asked.

"I do believe that you know exactly what I thought of today," Mal responded with a sweet smile.

"Well, I'm hoping that you liked it alright," I responded with a chuckle.

"Oh Ben, it was beautiful. It was perfect, the way everyone came together like that," she said.

I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her in for a quick kiss. She melted into my chest and rested her head on my chest.

"I love you," she whispered.

"I love you too."

"Thank you," Mal said, looking up at me with adoring eyes and the most beautiful face I had ever laid my eyes on.

"Anything for my queen," I responded, pulling her in for another kiss.

Mal's POV

As we continued our trek back to the castle, I let my mind wander to the future. I would e Queen of Aurodon, married to the love of my life, and surrounded by the most supportive friends and family a girl could dream of. It seemed almost too good to be true. I glance over at Ben, smiling as I think of our future together, starting a family and ruling our beautiful kingdom side by side. After the 'Audrey Incident,' the kingdom's people were still in shock that someone born and raised in Aurodon could turn so evil. I am just hoping that they can learn to accept the people of the Isle as friends, not enemies. Although much of the younger generations of Aurodon were starting to befriend and get to know the villain kids, much of the older generations still didn't trust us. Although it was sad, I knew that the new addition of the Isle to Aurodon would not be well received by everyone.

"What are we going to do about all of the people who don't want the new citizens coming over from the Isle?" I asked Ben.

"I don't know if there is anything we can do about it now," He responded, "I suppose that we will just have to hope that the people from the Isle can prove to the people of Aurodon that they can be good."

"I sure hope they can," I responded.

Beast's POV

Although I was reluctant at the initial announcement, the look on the face of my future daughter-in-law when she looked out upon the rejoicing of the people was enough to convince me that they had made the right choice. Belle and I decided to retire to our chambers early, as it had been a very tiring day.

Turning to my wife, I say, " Do you think it will turn out alright?"

"Mal hasn't made a wrong choice yet," she responded.

"I suppose that is true," I replied, "They'll be happy, the kingdom will be happy, and I'll be proud," I said while drifting off into my land of dreams.
