Ben's POV

I lay alone in my bed, unable to sleep. The day had been exciting and full of so many happy memories that  I would cherish forever. I decided that I wasn't going back to sleep anytime soon, so I arise and dress in sweatpants and a T-shirt. I walk towards the gardens, examining the beautiful flowers under the lampposts hanging above them. Finding a bench, I sit down for a short while, looking up at the shining moon above me. The whole world cast its luminescent glow. I think about how the light from the sun is reflected off of the moon, making the beautiful glow that I see on tonight's full moon. I think of how Mal is that for me, my bright sun that helps me reflect light and happiness onto our kingdom, even if we are on opposite sides of the world.

As I walk back towards the castle, I decide to walk past Mal's temporary room. She had moved in once we graduated and she would be allowed to move into my room once we were wed. When I walked past, I couldn't help but open the large oak doors and lay on the bed next to her.

Mal's POV

"Ben?" I say with squinted eyes, looking at the figure laying on my bed.

"Hey," he responded, "I couldn't sleep."

"You're always welcome here," I whispered, moving over to him and laying my head on his chest.

It was comforting knowing that soon, we could fall asleep like this every night. All I knew is that I loved him. That was enough for me.

"Morning sleepy," I heard while being gently kissed on the lips.

"Mh. Just five more minutes," I say, not wanting to get up.

"It's already ten-thirty Mal," Ben said.

I opened my eyes, smiling at my fiancee. I haven't been able to sleep past six in the morning for weeks.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah. And we have lunch with Evie, Jay, and Carlos planned for noon. I know how long it takes you to get ready," he said, smirking.

"Shut up," I said, smacking his arm lightly.

"Owww," he said, rolling off the bed, "I think I'm going to die! I might have to amputate it!"

I rolled my eyes. "So dramatic," I said smiling.

He climbed onto the bed, cross-legged. I sat up next to him and kissed him.

"You should probably go start getting ready too then. You like to spend your sweet time in the shower," I said.

"So long then, my love." He said as he got up and crossed the room to the door.

"So long," I said, giving him the royal wave Belle had taught me.

Once I had finished my shower, gotten dressed, and done some light makeup, it was eleven-thirty. I walked out of my room and down the hall, heading to the royal's quarters. On my way, I ran into Belle.

"Mal!" she said, "We need to plan a time to start working on wedding details!"

"Oh, of course," I responded, "We have lunch with friends right now. How about we do it at lunch tomorrow?"

"That's perfect," Belle stated, "I'll have Mrs.Potts make us something."

"Thank you, Belle. I'll make sure Evie can make it. She insists on getting to decorate, as well as make the suits and dresses," I said.

"I'll see you tomorrow then," Belle says with a warm smile.

"We'll be there," I respond.

Once I reach Ben's room, I knock on the door.

"Hey," I say, smiling as he opens the door, a comb going through his wet hair.

"Ready to go?" He asks, putting the comb down on the dresser and taking my hand with his.

"Yep," I respond.

We walk down the hall hand in hand and head out towards Evie's 'starter castle', where we were all meeting for lunch.
