Marcus P.O.V

I could only hear faint beeping noises. My eyes were shut and weren't allowed to open. Last thing I remember was jumping in front the bullet. I swore it hit me in the chest but obviously I'm alive. I struggle to move but felt pressure on my chest. I then heard soft cries I knew it was Bella. When I was finally able to come back to my senses the first thing I see was her.

Bella P.O.V

I waited patiently for any signs of recovery. It was my fault he was here and I couldn't leave his side. Through my tears I heard soft grunts and looked at Marcus who had finally began to open his eyes. I ran out the room to get the doctor.

Doctor: Well Mr.Carter aren't you lucky?

Marcus: What happen?

Doctor: You were hit once in the chest but it barely missed your main artery.

Marcus: Where's my girlfriend she was just here?

Doctor: She stepped out the room to clean her face. She been here the either 2 days you were out.

Marcus: Doc I love her

Doctor: She loves you too

I really never left I just waited outside. I walked inside the room and both sets of eyes turned to me.

Doctor: Ill go get the paper work to release you. No driving, heavy lifting and bed rest for a week. Also make sure to take this medication 3 times a day.

(Doctor leaves room)

Marcus: So you really never left my side?

Bella: Its my fault your in here

Marcus: No its my fault for dating that crazy bitch.

Bella: She was expelled and booked for attempted murder and stalking.

Marcus: Good she deserved it.

Marcus ran his finger down my jawline and grabbed a hold of my hand. We stared into each others eyes. Their was a knock at the door.

Lucas: The wildcats back

Marcus: You know that right nigga

I got up from the bed and gave Lucas a hug.

Marcus: How y'all know each other?

Bella: He came the first night you were here. I called him to drive up home.

Lucas: Be cool dude I ain't messing with your girl.

The doctor finally came back to the room and Marcus signed his release papers. I had to sign also to say I would take care of him while he was on bed rest. We all got in Lucas's car and drive back to Marcus's apartment. Once we were inside Lucas left as alone.

Marcus: So you sharing a bed with me?

Bella: No I was going to sleep on the sofa.

Marcus: Bella don't act like this you know I didn't tell Meagan that you are still my girl and after being unconscious for two days I only want to be next to you.
