Chapter 6: Trust

Avi knew he had to do something. About Kirstie.
What he also knew though is that there were the consequences. Kirstie rejecting him. Leading to not talking from embarrassment. Leading to the group breaking up.
And even if Kirstie accepted him that way... There were still the fans. There would be controversy. Especially now the 5 were becoming famous extremely fast recently.
He slouched down onto his bed, and decided to watch some of their first music videos to calm his mind. But it didn't help. His eyes went to Kirstie, and only her.
KNOCK KNOCK
'Avi?' Kevin opened Avi's door. He jumped, stopped his music, sighed and sat upright.
'Man, you gotta get outside. It's been three days since you went on the other side of our door other than to eat or drink.' Kevin had a worrying look on his face. 'What is it?'
'I told you... I haven't been feeling good.' Kevin cocked his head to the left, and asked again.
'You seem fine to me.... What is it? Whatever it is, you know I - and the rest of the band - we're here for you.'
'Kev, I don't think I wanna tell everyone in the group.' Avi knew Kevin wasn't going to give up, and Avi had decided he could tell him.
'Well, tell me anyway.'
'I....I think I like Kirstie.' Avi sighed, and sunk back down into his bed.
'What? Seriously?' Avi nodded slowly, knowing he was going to react like this.
I know it's a terrible thought Kevin... Please forgive me...
'But dude, I don't blame you. She's pretty hot.' Kevin smiled innocently as Avi shook his head.
'She's just so.... FUN. To be around, to sing with, and she has a pretty special voice.' Kevin nodded knowingly.
'Well, guess what?' Avi looked up, curious but confused.
'What?'
'Guess who's going to Mitch's and Scott's to tell them.'
'Wait what?' Avi shook his head furiously, with a look of annoyance on his face.
'Hey, I said I don't want everyone to know! I trust you.'
'Come on... Kirstie won't find out and it'll all be good. After all, you can trust me.' Kevin now had a serious look on his face.
'Maybe later. As in a few weeks or so.' Avi stared back down onto his phone, clicked the on button, and a picture of Kirstie and him hugging popped up, with the time.
'Just maybe not now.'
Kevin looked down on defeat, but agreed.
'Ok, but you look like you need some food. You up for burgers?'
'You know it!'

Hope everyone's well and putting up their Christmas trees while listening to PTX's Christmas album.
And while I'm here I'd like to take a moment and congratulate PTX on their recent success with this album.
Also, I'm going away for Christmas very soon to a place with limited internet...
So... I'm gonna try and spam write soon. Hopefully. But please forgive me if I don't.
